Exposition. Okuhida Karaguchi Junmai : Karaguchi from Okuhida, Gifu Prefecture. I thought it would be okay to drink it as an atsukan. I didn't think it was the best flavor, but something about it reminded me of Gero Onsen, so I picked up a bottle. More review later.

Exposition. Kyohime Junmai Daiginjo : Kyoto-based meigara. I think I've seen this somewhere, but I'm not sure if it's export or entry-level. Overall, it has a nice feel to it.

Exposition. Kagatobi Ai Junmai Daiginjo Kagatobi Chikan Junmai Karaguchi Kagatobi Yamahai Junmai Chokaraguchi Kagatobi is said to be named after the fire brigade. It was relatively dry as it was mainly Karaguchi. They also displayed sake glasses out front, and if they were for sale, I would definitely buy them. One of the bottles I debated whether or not to buy until the end. There's a subtle splendor to it, and I think it would be equally good warm. I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting this one in the future, I'm looking forward to the flavors.

Exposition. Kuroobi Yu Yu Tokubetsu Junmai A 400-year-old brewery. For beginners like me, especially those who are not familiar with sake flavors, it is hard to beat Junmai Daiginjo, but those who like sake a little more may like this Tokubetsu Junmai. It is a matter of taste. The aftertaste was sharp and balanced, but I wonder what it would be like to drink it with atsukan.

Exposition. Koganesawa Hitomebore Brewery Sake from Miyagi Prefecture. I tasted it because it had the word bru attached to it. Maybe this bru is not that bru, but delicious enough? A light muscat.

Exposition. Free glass of kiddo : Kido with a good price-performance ratio. From Heiwa Sake Brewery in Wakayama Prefecture. Still neat. The free glass is good, but I preferred the Junmai Daiginjo I reviewed earlier. Unmistakably Yamadanishiki, Hyogo Prefecture.

Exposition. Harugasumi Junmai Harukasumi Green Label Harukasumi White Label From Kuribayashi Sake Brewery in Akita Prefecture. Light as water and soft as spring, the overall impression is light and I think it would be great as an aperitif. It doesn't have a huge impact on the palate, but strangely, I remembered the green label the whole time. There was a famous label called NEXT FIVE or something, and the smooth texture was definitely good. Without any prior knowledge, I felt like I was doing a blind test with my eyes.

Exposition. Jozan Junmai Ginjo Gentatsu : Jozan brewery in Fukui Prefecture. Refreshing and subtly dry. There's a hint of savory flavor. I thought I'd try another one later, but I forgot.

Exposition. Kankiku Ocean99 Oumi Murokanamagenshu Kankiku Ocean99 Hoshiumi Murokanamagenshu Kangiku True White Junmai Daiginjo Murokanamagenshu As the name suggests, this is a coastal sake from Kankikumeijo in Chiba Prefecture, and it is mainly a seasonal sake. Murokanamagenshu means unfiltered (unfiltered), raw sake. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I was put off by the overpowering fruity flavor. This is a personal preference, as I like the rice itself to be more intense than the fruit. I think it would be popular with a younger crowd as a lighter drink. Typical flavors are refreshing or crisp. The final Junmai Daiginjo didn't taste quite like I expected, but I'm not sure if it was a bottle issue or my mood.

Exposition. Miyakanbai Junmai Ginjo Origarami (Nama) Miyakanbai Junmai Daiginjo Muroka Nakadori (Nama) : I saw a video of Miyakanbai on my way to Magok this morning. Kanbai Shuzo. Mr. Chizake, the representative of Miyagi Prefecture, speaks Miyakanbai a lot. Sasamusubi is a bonus. I thought it was imported by Hitejin, but it was already brought in by Nihonsake. It's one of the sake meigara that consistently gets good reviews, so I've seen many reviews here and there. My overall impression was that it was okay, and I debated whether or not to buy the origarami until the end. I purposely went light on my hands, so I didn't plan on buying a lot of bottles. It was one of my favorite sake varieties after returning home. It's clean and light. Origarami is a type of filtration, and unlike regular sake, where the sake milt (duck) is filtered out during bottling, it is intentionally left in. There may be sediment, hence the slightly turbid color. The flavor comes on later, and I found myself liking it with grain and table sake. If you get the chance, buy it separately and drink it with hops.

Exposition. Emishiki World Peace Emishiki Junmai Daiginjo Akaiito (Nama) Emishiki Tokubetsu Junmai Sensation label is already fairly easy to find in Japan. Brewed in Emishiki, Shiga Prefecture, it basically feels natural in its acidity and refreshment. However, I wasn't impressed on this day and felt it was overshadowed by the Miyakanbai that followed.
