Purchased on a trip to Aomori.
It is very straightforward and goes slowly in the mouth and down the throat.
It is not dry but slightly sweet. It is an easy to drink sake.
I had it at one of the stations where they were running a campaign.
I guess you could call it sparkling, but it certainly had a soda-like flavor, which is more to the liking of women. Not that it was bad, of course.
I thought it was delicious.
Purchased during a trip to Hiroshima
Kamoizumi's Morning Shibori.
It is not carbonated but tastes like carbonation on the tongue with sweetness and spiciness coexisting. I had had it before and enjoyed it, so I found it and bought it again.
It seems that it is only sold during the season when the brewery opens its warehouse, so if I visit Hiroshima before March, I will repeat my purchase of this sake.
First time drinking at home in a while - Junmai Daiginjo by Hamafukutsuru
The taste of rice spreads softly on the palate with a slightly thickened mouthfeel.
I like to have something with snacks that are not too strong in flavor.
Drinking out for the first time in a while
Aomori Hakkouda Oroshi Habukiyuki 55, super dry with a sharp taste. It is very tasty and food goes well with it.
The first sake of the New Year was Kiku Yaei from Okadaya Honten in Shimane Prefecture.
It is a slightly mellow sake, just right for drinking at the beginning of the year.
I would like to visit the brewery if I ever go to Masuda in Shimane.
Purchased during a visit to Nishiki-cho, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
On a solo trip, I researched the area beforehand and purchased it at Horie Sake Brewery because of its sake brewery.
The mouthfeel was a good fusion of sweetness and sourness, and I drank it as if I were gently putting it on a little at a time.
It has a very nice flavor and may be suitable for women.
The sake was purchased at Tenka no Sousho Meiri Sake Brewery.
The sake was refreshing when chilled, and a little thicker at room temperature.
I like both types of sake, so I had to drink it slowly or it would be gone in no time.
Purchased on a sightseeing trip to Kanazawa.
It was a dry sake with a crisp mouthfeel and a rice flavor.
Next time, I would like to buy a four-pack bottle.
We had it at a bar in Kanazawa.
It was my first time having frozen sake. The taste was quite punchy and the alcohol came all at once. It was such a good taste.
I would like to drink this sake again if I have the chance, as it is only available during the summer.
