A bottle I drank at home at the end of the year. I was a little scared to open the bottle because I saw on the label on the back that it was a pure sake with an alcohol content of 18.5 degrees and that "we want to make the strongest sake we can". Wait a minute! It's not harsh at all! It has a gorgeous taste and aroma, and it doesn't feel heavy or harsh. It goes well with a variety of dishes! Great, Oku! It was a great bottle, full of the creator's attention to detail!

Happy New Year! To start off the year 2024, I will drink ayu (sweetfish) Masamune, which was given to me by an acquaintance, cold. I served it cold with herring roe, black soybeans, kamaboko (fish cake), kombu maki (kelp roll), etc. It goes so well together! It has a strong flavor and is soft and easy to drink! It is a good sake for a meal! I finished the entire bottle by myself! It's going to be a good year!

Attracted by the label. I had it cold with hand-rolled sushi. I personally like it better after a few days than when the bottle is opened. The malic acidity is rounded and easy to drink. Like the label on the back, it is light, smooth, and easy to guzzle. Even the day after drinking quite a bit, there is no body residue. In my opinion, I would like more punch. LOL!

Grilled meat and potatoes and hokke (hokke), Sake is served cold. The first sip is refreshing! Sourness and sweetness are well balanced. The aroma is moderate and nicely balanced. For me, it was like going right to the middle of the road. （I prefer a little bit of a peculiar taste, so it was a little short. I also drank it a little warmer on another day, but I don't think it made much of an impression on me. It wasn't what I was feeling or what I wanted at the time. It wasn't quite the drink I wanted, but it was refined and very tasty.

I went to Kumamoto Prefecture. Since I had come all this way, I selected Nanaho Snake from among the sake on display at the store. It was left at room temperature at the store, so I put it in the freezer to drink as soon as possible! Once the sake was cooled down to a crisp, we opened the bottle. I filled a glass and moved it to the refrigerator. The sake was served with Jidori chicken tataki, horse mackerel sashimi, and cod roe. The first sip was very tasty, with a clear, crisp taste, a nice smooth taste, and just the right amount of acidity. The second glass, very cold, is also delicious! I think this sake tastes better when it is very cold. After that, the four-pack was quickly emptied with Kyushu's snacks and delicious sake. As one would expect from Kumamoto, where the water is clean! It is famous for its shochu (Japanese liquor), but it is no match for Kumamoto! I will buy it again when I have a chance!

It was served cold with sashimi of yellowtail and lotus root taro stew as an accompaniment. At first sip, I was surprised by the surprising balance of sweet, fresh, gorgeous, and refreshing! The introduction on the back of the bottle said, "Reminiscent of a melon..." and indeed, you can feel the freshness and crispness of the melon. This is delicious!

It was autumn-like weather, We had it cold. I served it cold with oden and bonito tataki sauce in ponzu (Japanese sauce made from ponzu citrus juice). This combination can be used for a week.
