Another brand from a sake brewery in the area of production. It is so effervescent that the first bubbles erupt, rather dry, and tastes great when drunk chilled. New discovery.
This is one of the last bottles from this year's Wadaya Hanpukai meeting. It has been a while since I drank a Kaze no Mori, but I remembered how impressed I was when I first drank it. As the temperature rises a bit, it becomes more flavorful.
A souvenir from Karuizawa. At first it seems sweet, but as time goes by, it becomes well-balanced and easy to drink. It is a sake that can be enjoyed with a meal.
A bottle from the Wadaya Hanpukai. Rebranded last year, the label is old-fashioned, but the taste is fresh and current. The alcohol content is low at 13%, making it easy to drink.
A gift. It had been laid down for a while, so it tasted a little old, but it has a mellow taste. It is well balanced and a bottle of high quality. The taste is in the lineage of traditional sake.
A bottle of Wadaya's distribution. When I opened it, the lid flew off and the gassiness was amazing. At first the sweetness is strong, but it gradually settles down and is wonderfully done.
A bottle from the Wadaya Hanpukai. Fermented in the bottle for a month and a half, it has a strong effervescence. It is fresh & juicy, easy to drink, and a bottle will be empty in no time.
A bottle of Wadaya Hanpukai. This is the first time to drink this sake brewery. It is dry but has a little sweetness due to its light nigori, and is well balanced.
Wadaya original and one of the hanpukai. I have the impression that it has shifted a little more toward a sake-like flavor than before. It has the goodness of ogara-mi, and you can enjoy different tastes at the beginning and at the end.
