The best thing to drink at the Mito Festival is local sake, Ippin. If you bring a square of sake, you can drink it for a replacement price of a whopping 300 yen!
While the detailed specifications are unknown, I received it at an event toasting with Mito's local sake! What a great price, 100 yen!
Mito's boar cup is so cute😍!

First time to participate in the Mito Koumon Festival!
There was a stall by Yoshikubo Sake Brewery, famous for SABA de SHU, so I bought some! Festivals are very exciting!
There was also a stall by Tsukii Sake Brewery, which I would like to visit later.
A colleague brought it to my office.
He told us that it was somewhat difficult to obtain because of the Dodger's case.
It had a robust aroma and a firm, juicy flavor. As the brand name "Ippin" suggests, it tasted very elegant. It was my favorite sake with sweetness.
Thank you for the sake!
A cup of sake decorated with Mito City's character "Mito-chan".
As usual, there is little sweetness or acidity, but the moderate spiciness and umami are just right to make you drink it.
Everyone loves this character's cup.
One Cup One Pack Festival 593rd Bottle
When it was founded, the name was "Mika no Tsuki" (moon in a jar), but it was changed to "Ippin" (from Tenka Ippin) in the early Meiji period (1868-1912).
The sweetness and sourness of the soup are not so great, but the moderate spiciness and umami satisfy the palate. It is especially good on a hot night like this. It is so tasteless that you will find yourself running out before you know it.
The legs are slightly yellowish, not very clear, but thick and small.
The 592nd one-cup, one-pack festival
I bought it because it happened to be in a Seven I stopped by.
The drink was mild and easy to drink with a sweet taste.
It seemed different from the atmosphere around the station... (laughs)
