It has been a long time since I have posted.
On New Year's Eve, I had some Yamaguchi sake at my home in Sapporo in memory of the late former Prime Minister Abe.
It has a great flavor and a little bit of a schwash. Next time, I will try blue or orange.
2022 was another year of good sake tasting 😄.

Tonight, I'll be guzzling Yamamoto Turquoise Blue 💨.
I bought it because I also ski as a hobby and sympathize with the skiers Yasui and his son who grow sake rice.
It's a very fruity sake and I love the taste 😄.
It was a good decision.

Sake goes down a treat at the 3rd Imojikai 💨
Today, we had a glass of Dewazakura shigusa (recommended by Rui Yoshida) 😄.
It's a very easy to drink sake.
The third version of Imoi-ni-kai was perfect when I used the all-purpose soy sauce [Marujuu] recommended by a friend of mine in Yamagata 😄.
It's the season for good sake and I'm looking forward to eating rice 💨.

Today, unlike last night, we are having Miyagi style stewed potatoes.
Yamagata style is soy sauce flavored and Miyagi style is miso flavored😄.
The sake was recommended by my favorite liquor store.
It's very fruity and I'll be guzzling it tonight too 💨.

Yesterday, I had a one-man Yamagata-style potato stew party at a solo camp 😄.
Akita sake is fruity and great!
I had never had the chance to try this dish when I was in high school during the Yamagata National Athletic Meet because I was losing weight 🍲.
I know it's not quite as good as the real thing, but the delicious sake and the potato stew makes the sake go down a treat 💨.

Last night, we had an opinion exchange meeting at work.
To my surprise, my boss brought in a bottle of Jikin and my colleagues brought in a bottle of Toyobai.
It was my first Jikin, but it was also fruity and great.

Today, skiing on the summer slopes → relaxing at Akiu Onsen → drinking in the evening 🍶!
At Saichi, a famous store in Akiu Onsen, we bought summer vegetables (bitter melon), the Bon Festival staple, nishime, and sake 🙌!
The bitter taste of the bitter melon and the sake, and the deliciousness of the nishime and the sake are perfect 👌👌.
This time the sake is as fresh as the name says 😄!

This sake was purchased at Uesugi Shrine during an expedition to Yonezawa. It is made from Dewanosato sake rice.
It was a gentle and easy to drink sake.
Yamagata's sake is delicious.
