Purchased at Kobe Hankyu on the way home from a live concert in Kansai The aroma is strong and sweet like banana or peach. It was served at the Nobel Prize, so it is exactly the kind of refreshing ginjo-shu that would sell well in Western countries. I've been to Kobe Shu-shin-kan but never had a chance to try it properly, but I recommend this brand from Nada for beginners too!

On my way back from a business trip to Hokkaido last year, I was recommended to buy a limited edition brewer's product at a souvenir store in New Chitose Airport, so I bought it. The aroma is not so noticeable at room temperature, but when it is cooled down, it has an elegant aroma. The mildness of the rice spreads on the palate, followed by a sharp taste, leaving a mellow aftertaste despite being a ginjo-shu. It is a deep sake that goes well with a variety of snacks, though it is different from the clarity and luxury of so-called junmai daiginjo-shu.

Hometown tax returns from Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture The aroma has a strong fruity flavor, but the mouthfeel has a light acidity and the mildness of the rice spreads, and the astringency slowly seeps in on the aftertaste. Compared to Junmai Daiginjo, the overall balance of umami is less pronounced, but it is definitely a very drinkable sake. It is a top-class Kido sake that can be served with both light and strong dishes, and with all kinds of snacks.

Something I received from a relative who went on a trip to Akita. It has no aroma, a sharp and clean aftertaste, and no peculiarities at all in the mouth. It is just right for drinking well chilled in midsummer. It can be served with anything, but sashimi with a light aftertaste is delicious!

I found it by mail order and bought it because it is a limited edition sake, completely made to order, sold only in spring and fall every year. A deep sake with the strong aroma of Otter's unique flavor, the rich rice flavor as well as Otter's crispness, fresh carbonation and a slight smokiness. Even though it is a limited edition sake, it is so easy to drink that it is a waste of time to gobble it up!

Purchased at Imanishi Sake Brewery Approach Store The Sanmorosugi brand is sold only in Nara Prefecture. No aroma, but the mouthfeel comes with a strong sourness and fruity taste, followed by rice, sweetness and a refreshing feeling in the mouth. It is a versatile junmai ginjo-shu that can be drunk continuously without getting tired of it and goes well with any snacks.

Purchased at the Imanishi Sake Brewery's approach store in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture Mimuro-sugi is also seen in Tokyo, but the Sanmorosugi series is distributed only in the prefecture. While most people have the image of a gushy sake, this is a fine sake with an immediate umami and freshness that spreads from the first sip and leaves a delicious rice flavor in the aftertaste.

I found it on an online shopping site and bought it. There are many series of Kaze no Mori, so I was wondering which one to drink first. I went in from this one because it is a series of sake rice produced only in Nara Prefecture! The aroma is strong, but the sweetness and carbonation on the palate is so refreshing that it is hard to believe it is sake! If you like the crispness of dry sake or the alcohol taste of sake, this may not be for you! For those who want to try sake from now on, this is an excellent brand that is easy to drink.

Recommended by a beautiful lady at Asano Sake Shop in Sannomiya, Kobe. It was delicious, with a strong umami taste despite the carbonation of the nigori sake. It is the only sake brewery in Kakogawa and is not widely distributed.
