New Year's Day Masayo-san is still delicious! Morning sake by the bonfire with local friends from the first sunrise surfing, Then home and morning bath, osechi cooking and beer, And then oden and Masayosan 🍶✨ after a nap. A bit dry with a bubbly and sharp taste, and a good taste that makes my loose body and soul happy! It's the best!

fall-leaf viewing On the way back from Nishizawa Valley in Yamanashi Prefecture, we stopped by Yoro Sake Brewery Rokunoha was named so that the sixth generation's challenge would spread like a wave. The bottle and label are beautiful. What is that smell? Koji? Tastes acidic. Hmmm not my favorite 🤔.

And when you drink it after a few days, it changes to a different impression. 2nd one raining According to the sake brewer, they use well water with high hardness from the subsoil of Mount Tanzawa Oyama (Mt. Amezuri) for the brewing water. I like their approach and regional characteristics. It has a light grapefruit flavor, a little tangy on the tip of the tongue, and a clean but lingering taste.
