The order was for a sake that goes well with shimaji.
The restaurant recommended cold sake, but I had it cold.
It has a little bit of a peculiar taste, but it goes well with the striped horse mackerel sashimi.
Also a izakaya at Shimokitazawa West Exit.
When you get to this point, you no longer remember the taste.
(Spumante, white wine, beer, red wine, and highball before drinking sake)
Izakaya located right outside Shimokitazawa West Exit.
Sake from Shimane Prefecture, the owner's hometown.
They also donate to stray cats.
It seemed to have a robust flavor.
Yamashin @ Chitose Karasuyama.
I heard that this sake is from Niigata and not often available outside of the local area.
Not sure if it is junmai or not, but Tsuru no Tomo itself seems to be sold at Niigata's antenna store in Omotesando.
It was also sold at the Tokyo University of Agriculture's Harvest Festival.
I made a mistake in my last post, so I'm re-uploading it as a reminder
