No cloying taste. The drinkability is moderate and not heavy. It is not a sweet sake, although it has a considerable sugar content. The aftertaste is moderately clean.
I think it is an easy-to-understand goodness that anyone can say is delicious, regardless of the drinker. The price is modest and very helpful.

I tasted some of the sake in the basement of the department store at Yokohama Station, and although the ginjo sake was quite good, I bought this special junmai for this evening's dinner sake.
