Corner shop at a liquor store in Iwate
The balance of sweetness and sourness is exquisite.
It also has a nice umami taste, but it is not too heavy, and seems to be easy to pair with food.
It has the flavor and richness of Junmai Unfiltered, but the mouthfeel is clean and has a nice aftertaste.
It is just right for when you want a solid sake.

Tonight we had #Hama Chidori Junmai Light Nigori Nama Sake from Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. The aroma is softly banana-like. The orikori was a little more than usual. Maybe that's why it was juicy. Since it has been extremely hot, we drank it on the rocks and enjoyed it very much.
Izakaya Shinkansen🚄!
I drank Hamachidori that I bought as a souvenir for my father. It's not heavy but firm, not light but firm, not sour, not too sweet, delicious. I wish it was available closer to home.
Two beers too 🍻 I thought it was a real bear beer 🐻 Kumamoto, which seems to be a region in trouble with bears!
Mater beer. Tetsuro wanted to be in a machine body, but I felt Mater raw (beer). It was nice and shwashy.
In Morioka, they were still selling liver sashimi. I hadn't had liver sashimi in a long time, and it tasted great. It was a mushroom made like liver sashimi....
