Tonight we had #Hama Chidori Junmai Light Nigori Nama Sake from Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. The aroma is softly banana-like. The orikori was a little more than usual. Maybe that's why it was juicy. Since it has been extremely hot, we drank it on the rocks and enjoyed it very much.
Izakaya Shinkansen🚄!
I drank Hamachidori that I bought as a souvenir for my father. It's not heavy but firm, not light but firm, not sour, not too sweet, delicious. I wish it was available closer to home.
Two beers too 🍻 I thought it was a real bear beer 🐻 Kumamoto, which seems to be a region in trouble with bears!
Mater beer. Tetsuro wanted to be in a machine body, but I felt Mater raw (beer). It was nice and shwashy.
In Morioka, they were still selling liver sashimi. I hadn't had liver sashimi in a long time, and it tasted great. It was a mushroom made like liver sashimi....
With friends from Kyushu training program 🍻.
A bottle from Iwate Prefecture 🍶.
It was one of the best bottles of the day 🍶. I was thrilled to find the sake I wanted to try ‼️, but I was also surprised at how good it was 😲 It has a strong flavor and is not cloying 😋.
I had the tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen from the original Nagahamaya that I had longed for 🍜😆 I chose "kata" for the hardness of the noodles, as I couldn't go for "nama" at first! So happy 😆.
Mr. Noodle Drink King
Hi there...
Kyushu ramen's balikata and harigane are for me...😅ordinary is good enough♪
I'm sure the drinks you bring and share are delicious 🤤.
Hi, Mr. Noodle Sake King 😃I knew about harigane and powder drop, but I didn't know there was such a thing as nama 🍜The Nagahamaya looks delicious, as does the sake 😋.
Good evening, Mr. Noodle King 🌛.
I went to "Ganso Nagahamaya" 🍜 almost 20 years ago.
I went there almost 20 years ago and remember the smell of "Han" inside the restaurant 🤣.
I heard that the temperature in Hokkaido can get up to 40 degrees Celsius, so please take care of yourself and your family!
Good evening, Noodle and Sake King 😃.
Thanks for the training 📚.
I miss the original Nagahamaya, I used to live nearby ☺️
Nagahamaya instead of Nagahamaya, you are a connoisseur 😁.
Betanama is something young people eat, older people used to eat yawa quite a bit 🤔.
Noodle Sake King Thank you for the like on my post 😊.
It sounds like you are having a hard time with the record heat wave in East Hokkaido. My sister lives in Otaru but without air conditioner. I hope all you noodle drinkers are doing well 🥺.
Good morning, kozo 😃.
I did ask for a "Normal" with a double portion, but I would have been fine with a "Normal" too 😉.
Bringing your own sake is good 😊Famous sake is good of course, but the best is to have local sake from all over the country: ‼️
Good evening, Massaging Sapporo 😃
I wonder if Harigane and Powdered Powder Drops are considered "Nama" 🤔I heard that some of them don't even let it go under the hot water called "Yu-Kidoshi" ‼️ Kyushu Tonkotsu, you should be scared 😲.
Good evening, Gyve 😃.
I wanted to visit Nagahamaya when I went to Kyushu and my wish came true ❗I wanted to visit Nagahamaya too! It was pretty hot and bad in Hokkaido last week and this week 😵.
Good evening, Aladdin 😃.
If this restaurant were closer to me, I would go there every day. ‼️ I had the "Normal" with doubles, but this one suited my palate better 😋.
Good evening, Pitama 😃.
No, no, thank you very much for your kind attention 🙇.
Hokkaido, especially in the eastern part of Hokkaido, is very difficult for elderly households as many of them don't have air conditioners. I don't think I can remember such a hot Hokkaido either 😵.
Posting No. 521
This sake is made from 100% Gin Ginga produced in Otsuchi-cho, Iwate Prefecture.
It has a rich flavor typical of Yamahai. The aftertaste is very long and lingers for a while. It has a strong acidity and sweetness.
Pairing with Ate
Mambo Chagama◎
Vinegared fried noodles
Tofu with sweet bean curd◯+
Personal preference★★★★+☆
Lightly cloudy. Sweet taste. At first it smelled like alcohol, but after a little while it became unnoticeable. Nama-zake. It feels rough on the tongue.
It tastes better on the second day. Tasty.
