This is a limited edition doburoku sold at the Hasegawa Sake Shop in Gransta at Tokyo Station. We previously compared the pineapple🍍 and regular versions, but this time it was grape🍇! The color and aroma were very good and full of grape flavor 😋.

Intention of the name "Yanase Jikin's "Daiginjo Yanase" was named with the intention of passing on the history and climate of the region to future generations. Nabari, Mie Prefecture, where the brewery is located, used to be called "Yanase" because ayu (sweetfish) fishing was popular along the Nabari River and many fish traps called "Yanase" were set up to catch ayu fish. Although the village was administratively renamed "Nabari Village" in the Meiji era (1868-1912), the name "Yanze" has been handed down for a long time and is an essential part of the history and climate of the area. It was also closely associated with the Omizutori event at Todaiji Temple, and the Nara Plain and the Nabari River were important as a transportation route for lumber at that time. The name "Yanase" reflects the will to pass on the culture and history of the region to the future by inheriting the old name of Nabari.
