Purchased at Yokohama Takashimaya Rice used is Kame-no-o type Koshihikari produced in Kasama City The alcohol is a little strong, but the taste is smooth and not like an unfiltered draft. It has a good balance of sweetness and bitterness and is refreshingly clean❣️. There aren't many unfiltered sake that are good all-around food sake, but this one seems to go well with all kinds of food❣️.

Purchased at a liquor store I stopped by when I was in Ibaraki. I knew I would buy it in winter when it was labeled "fresh"! It was brewed the old-fashioned way, so it had a unique flavor, somewhat like drinking old sake. It was more suitable as a food sake than on its own 🍶 as recommended by the brewer.

Long time no post! Took me a while to drink 2 squares 🤣. I bought it at my usual Marunaka Ohashi Shoten. I let it sleep in the refrigerator. The price was 1,396 yen (720ml) I'll be back soon! I love the fruity scent💕. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it's worth it. It's a good sake that's easy to drink, but you can still taste the sweetness and flavor of the rice. It's a dangerous sake for someone like me who is weak in alcohol. Today's pairing is Daikon and Chicken Teriyaki. It's good as a single item, but it's also recommended as a sake for a meal. I got this on a trip to Nagasaki last year. I will have it while thinking back to the delicious Turkish rice and Sara Udon noodles 🤤. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is sweet and fluffy, like pudding or custard. The aroma is gentle and soothing. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, but as the aroma suggests, it has a pudding-like flavor and a moist sweetness that fills the mouth 🍮. On the other hand, it also has a slightly tangy and pungent acidity that gives it a lightness, so it has a good balance of depth of flavor and a sharpness that goes down your throat👍. In the latter half of the bottle, the astringent taste also comes out, so the flavor can be felt as caramelized.
