Purchase from Okuhida Sake Brewery This sake brewery is within walking distance of Hida Kanayama Station. This time, they recommended to purchase by letter. I am a sucker for limited editions, so I bought it. The aroma is moderate and the taste is strong. It is dry with a clean aftertaste. I paired it with fried pork and cheese with tomato ketchup. First time drinking at Japanese Sake Festival Osaka ③. This is Okuhida-san, which I really got for the first time 😀. The first green sparkling sake was quite tasty, but the one that surprised me the most was this Tokujun Hi-ire 😇. Found it at a local store I sometimes go to 👀. I had no prior knowledge of the brand, but was attracted by the sexy label and the owner's comment that it was "sweet and delicious" 😁. Rice used is something from Kyushu It was sent together with eel as a hometown tax return gift from Isahaya City❗️. It is a clear and dry sake with good sharpness ‼️. The sweetness is just a hint and goes well with eel. I was curious about the sake brewery that has the same name as Okinawa "Reimei", but I see they are related. It is interesting to see how many things are connected in this industry.

I got this on a trip to Nagasaki last year. I will have it while thinking back to the delicious Turkish rice and Sara Udon noodles 🤤. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is sweet and fluffy, like pudding or custard. The aroma is gentle and soothing. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, but as the aroma suggests, it has a pudding-like flavor and a moist sweetness that fills the mouth 🍮. On the other hand, it also has a slightly tangy and pungent acidity that gives it a lightness, so it has a good balance of depth of flavor and a sharpness that goes down your throat👍. In the latter half of the bottle, the astringent taste also comes out, so the flavor can be felt as caramelized. There are also the standard "Yokoyama Goju" and "Rokujyosu", and I remember that I had a lot of trouble finding a variety at the Nagasaki airport. I also drank Nagasaki sake several times, and it seems to me that the level of sake is as high as that of shochu 😌.

Long time no post! Took me a while to drink 2 squares 🤣. I bought it at my usual Marunaka Ohashi Shoten. I let it sleep in the refrigerator. The price was 1,396 yen (720ml) I'll be back soon! I love the fruity scent💕. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it's worth it. It's a good sake that's easy to drink, but you can still taste the sweetness and flavor of the rice. It's a dangerous sake for someone like me who is weak in alcohol. Today's pairing is Daikon and Chicken Teriyaki. It's good as a single item, but it's also recommended as a sake for a meal. GW 4 days 3 nights with wife, 1,500km round trip🤣 We went on a Sanriku car trip 🙂. We stayed one night near Sendai and went to Sanriku. We had an ume (sea urchin) lunch box at Kuji station, and spent the second night in Miyako. Miyako's sake brewery, Hishiya Sake Brewery, Senryo Otokoyama. Seafood Cuisine at Murekou, a long-established bar that has been in business for over 45 years. Today we had fresh and delicious seafood dinner at Today, the restaurant was run by a pleasant elderly couple, who were basically just a customer with a reservation, but they were happy to help us at the counter.
