1,111 check-ins. And this is my 3rd time to win the national championship 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌! I asked a new employee from Okinawa to complete the mission and she did it 🤗! Thank you so much! But she gave it to me more than 3 months ago 😆. I somehow missed the timing to open the bottle 😅. Oh well. I'll open the bottle now: ❗️ The aroma is a pungent alcohol smell. It's a honjozo (honjozo means "pure brew") 💦. The sweetness and umami are not so strong on the palate but the acidity and bitterness (or pungency) are felt more strongly. Well, it's not a taste that can be served in large quantities, but we should be thankful that they brew sake in such a hot place like Okinawa... On a good married couples day 1,111 check in 1️⃣1️⃣1️⃣ 1️⃣ I'm not sure what the connection is... 💦. I'm a bit off 🤣.

It is a very old-fashioned sake with a nice sharpness. It must have been difficult to get this far in the Okinawan climate, but I was surprised that it is a proper classic sake. And about 9 months after I started recording, I was finally able to conquer the whole country!

I flew in from Okinawa😃I had a weird policy of never buying sake by mail order, so it was hard to find a bottle. This time my wife happened to be in Okinawa on business and I was able to purchase it. I don't mean to be rude, but it tasted better than I expected. It tasted somewhat like old Awamori, but that was also very appealing 👍.

Sake Honjozo Reimei Josen 720ml Alcohol content 15-16%. This is the seventh bottle from the party at an old house in Yatsuo. I brought a bottle that I had purchased in January at the sake cellar in the basement of the Liubou department store and stored in the refrigerator. Is this Awamori? No, no, no, it is the only sake I brought from Okinawa! Sake-wise, people can understand rare sake, but most of my acquaintances were not interested 😭. I was forced to follow them around and empty the bottle ^ ^. Well, I guess it was surprisingly good that everyone was able to drink so much with this lineup 😆.

I went on a business trip to Okinawa. I had to buy this 😠. I was in Uruma City, but didn't have time to stop by Taiseki Sake Brewery, so I bought it on Kokusai Dori. Nakamura Sake Brewery always seems to have Reimei Junmai Sake in stock at the beginning of the month, but now they are out of stock at the end of the month... 🥲. Taste... The sweetness is very noticeable. It is that kind of sweetness because brewing alcohol is added, but it is a little different. It is not so sharp, and the sweetness remains in the mouth. As the package says, it is a local sake unique to Okinawa. The ingredients, manufacturing process, and flavor are completely different from those of sake. I see 🤔. It doesn't go well with sashimi 🙁. I wonder, it might go well with raftage or chanpuru after all! I wish I had tried Junmai sake!

As you all know, this is Okinawa's only sake. It has a classical taste just as it appears on the label. It is no mean feat to brew sake in Okinawa, and the effort of the brewery must be considerable. But it is the same for every brewery. Thank you for your support and your national domination 😊.

This is "Reimei Honjozo Kami-Sen" from Taiseki Shuzo, the only sake brewery in Okinawa Prefecture. In conjunction with the Hankyu Sake Brewer's Festival held in September, I introduced the people of Sake-no-wa to an Okinawan specialty store where they could purchase Reimei! I bought a bottle too, and the clerk talked to me and asked "What's this sake?" 😅 He was surprised to see the sales of Reimei suddenly went up 😳. I told her that it was the only brand of sake in Okinawa and very rare (it was also written on the store's popup 😅). It was served cold at room temperature. The appearance is yellowish crystal. The aroma is mild. It has a classic sake-like alcohol and koji aroma. The taste is smooth, with a warm sweetness from the brewer's alcohol, followed by a light sourness that spreads and finishes with the stimulation of the alcohol. On the back of the box, there is a very interesting description of the history and thoughts of Reimei from its birth to the present. Reimei is a passionate sake that supports a part of Okinawa's sake culture. With this, we have now completed the 47 prefectures of Okinawa. The rest is overseas 😄. I hope to meet more great sake in the future 😎. Thank you very much for your hospitality 😊.

Good morning, Aladdin 😃. Congratulations on your national victory🗾㊗️🎉! People outside of the sakewa world might think 'now Okinawa sake is here ⁉️😳' 😆. I know what you mean about feeling relieved😄.

Thank you, Gyve 😊. I'm sorry it's getting harder to win by the end of the year, but I don't think there's any rush, so let's take our time 🍶I'll check again when I get a chance to see if there are any more in stock: ☺️

Thank you Maecin 😊. Reimei, I bought it because I hadn't yet explored Okinawa 😄I think it's still relatively easy to get it since there are antenna stores in big cities like Tokyo and Osaka 🤔.

Thank you, bouken 😊. I was impressed to know from the description on the box that they are making sake with a lot of ingenuity and hard work in a hot place with a lot of passion ☺️ certainly, otherwise they wouldn't be able to continue making sake in Okinawa 🤔.

Thank you very much, Haruei Chichi 😊. I think they knew about it because it was written on the popup in the store, but they must have been surprised by the sudden sales 😳 Well, to be honest, I don't think it's unreasonable 😁.

Thank you Rafa papa 😊. I can't sleep with my feet turned because it might be thanks to Rafa that the antenna store in Osaka started to carry Reimei 😁I might be able to get it back in stock if I ask 🤔.

Thank you Manachie 😊. Same to the right 😁 or rather, no one except those who do sake wa would be so crazy as to look for sake instead of awamori in Okinawan stores 😅we must keep the sake light on in Okinawa 😤.

Thank you Jay & Nobby 😊. The sake boom in Kochi never came even though the Tosa sake brewery did a morning drama on NHK about the family home 😅Now that TV's influence has diminished, let's create a boom with Sake no Wa 😎🍶.

Aladdin, congratulations on your belated national win: ㊗️ Thanks to Aladdin, I was also able to purchase Reimei 😊. It's a relief to win the whole country 😄.

アラジン
Thank you, Maru 😊. I'm glad you purchased Reimei 😄. I'm not that aware of the national conquest originally, but now that the national map of Sake no Wa is safely tinted green, it's comforting to think that I won't have to be completely aware of it 😁.

Aladdin, congratulations on winning the national championship ㊗️🎊🗾 Okinawa is difficult. I had to get an Okinawan resident to find it locally to clear it 😅. Please continue your relaxed sake life from now on 😆 I look forward to your ☺️ posts 😆.

アラジン
Thank you very much Lutertemi 😊. It seems more difficult to achieve with the help of local people 😳This time we conquered the whole country without mail order, but the distribution of sake that can do that normally is amazing🤔I still want to drink more different kinds of sake😁.

Thank you very much, Mr. Sakeran 😊. I didn't need to be aware of anything except Okinawa, Kagoshima and Miyazaki 😁I'm a hard-headed and boring person, so I can't post something as interesting as you can, but at least I want to send out accurate information 😎.

Aladdin-san, I know I'm late, but...congratulations on conquering the whole country 🎊...now that you've accomplished the difficult task of conquering Okinawa, you can pursue your favorite sake with ease 😉 The staff at the antenna store was surprised at the power of sake-no-wa 🤣.

Thank you, Ao-chan 😊. If there is no distribution of the sake I'm interested in, I have no choice but to order it 😅I'm also forever wondering if I have no choice but to buy it, like Miyanomatsu, which doesn't come out of Kyushu 😁.

On my way home from work, I was walking along a different route than usual when I came across a rather dirty little liquor store... I took a quick peek and to my surprise, I found a bottle of Okinawan sake called Reimei, which is going to be the most difficult part of conquering Japan 😀 I bought it as soon as I could and went home to eat it tonight 😀. I quickly bought it and went back to the table for dinner tonight 😀. I took a sip and wondered what it was.... ...I was prepared for it after reading the past posts on Sake-no-wa, but it tasted good in its own way 😀. It had a solid taste, but somehow it tasted like an old-fashioned sake 😀. For my taste, I think my next drink will probably be my second round in Japan...

Hi Pon 😀 Delicious might be an exaggeration😅. I felt it wasn't as good as your post prepared me for 😅. Next time I'll conquer the second lap of Japan, and until then I'll seal it off 😀.

Good morning, Yasube-san! It's rare that you were able to buy it at a liquor store while everyone else is struggling 😳and in Osaka😁. I also envy you that it's a 1 gou bottle 😅 4 gou was hard...

Hi bouken 😀 I managed to drink it all up deliciously since it's a single bottle 😅. What a surprise, it was 2 bottles left over from a special request 😀. The other one was a bottle that was left over from a special order 😀 😀. I'll open the other bottle on my second round of conquering Japan 😀.

. National Conquest Month → Often Drinking at Home Sake from Okinawa, the gateway to conquering the whole country I visited Okinawan restaurants but couldn't find it, and visited antenna shops but unfortunately they were out of stock 😢. So I cheated and had a good time 😅. The taste is as you wrote, a little bit strong with a strong alsodzuke taste. Now there are only 3 prefectures left to conquer! But why Tokyo and Osaka are still left... 👀! As a person who likes to drink outside, I'm searching for the rest to drink at a restaurant 💪.

Good evening, N.E. 😃 I don't think you can find Okinawan antenna store 🥲I think you can find it if you go out for a drink but that's difficult 😅I think you can find sake izakaya🏮 in the remaining 3 prefectures🤗Almost there 🤗‼️

Good evening Jay & Nobby 😃. Thank you for all the favs 😆. I don't drink at home much so I'm not used to visiting liquor stores and I'm an amateur in choosing where to get it 😅. Sake Izakaya, right, thanks for the advice 👍️
