At an izakaya in Umeda.
They have local sake from 47 prefectures, and the first drink was Reimei, a sake from Japan's southernmost sake brewery.
It tastes like Awamori, like Okinawa, but it also has a sourness that makes it a good mid-meal drink. 🙆♂️
We are now only one prefecture away from conquering all 47 prefectures of Japan!

I asked at a sushi restaurant on the first day, but they didn't have any Okinawan sake...

It has a strong, full flavor like Awamori and Shochu, and a punchy spiciness and acidity!
I heard that the production system will be changed in the future, but I look forward to seeing the reborn "Reimei" sometime in the future👍.

In the quest to conquer all prefectures, Okinawa Prefecture stands as a high obstacle.
Sake = Awamori, and "Reimei" is the only sake available in Okinawa Prefecture.
Since it is difficult to obtain in the mainland, I managed to get a bottle during my visit to Okinawa!
I think it has a slight reddish tinge.
The top aroma may be preconceived, but it has a faint banana-like flavor.
In the mouth, it has a solid and matured feeling.
The rice-derived graininess is strong... The rice polishing ratio is 70%.
Sake reflects the local climate.
It would go well with Okinawan cuisine, such as raftage.
