I first encountered it after the Great East Japan Earthquake when someone from Iwate gave it to me and drank it. It tasted the same now as it did then. It has a strong sweet sake taste, but I don't know if this is what nigori sake is like, since I don't drink it very often... It was a delicious sake with the sweetness of the rice coming to the fore.

I bought this one to accompany me on my trip. This is the first time I have had active sake "Yukikko". I shook the bottle before opening it, as I was told to "Shake it well before drinking. It has a beautiful cloudy white color like a snowy landscape. The first sip has a sweet and tasty flavor like amazake, with a gutsy aftertaste. Oh, the alcohol content is 20 degrees. I can see why. A cup of sake with a balance of umami and sweetness mixed in high concentration. It's a delicious ministry.

Purchased at the Hankyu Umeda Sake Brewer's Festival after the brewer spoke enthusiastically about Yukikko and explained it to us👍. I had it cold. The aroma is of creamy freshly cooked rice & alu aroma 😁. The texture is creamy and thick, like amazake on the palate. After spreading on the palate, it feels quite sake-like. It feels like the koji is alive 😁. It is quite sake when it leaves the nose after swallowing. There is also a sharp sake feeling, which is as expected of a pure sake. Despite the cute name like "Yukikko", it has 20% alcohol. When I drank it at the brewer's festival, it was easy to drink, but now it is quite heavy😅. I finished it while imagining that drinking this sake in an aluminum cup while riding a train in Tohoku in the cold season might just warm up my body... 😋.
