Activated Unblended Sake "Yukikko
This brewery is located in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture.
It is a limited edition sake available from October to April.
Tastes great straight, on the rocks, with soda, or even with ginjo-shu.
It is delicious not only straight, but also on the rocks or with soda.
It is a sake with a lively yeast flavor.

I first encountered it after the Great East Japan Earthquake when someone from Iwate gave it to me and drank it.
It tasted the same now as it did then.
It has a strong sweet sake taste, but I don't know if this is what nigori sake is like, since I don't drink it very often...

I bought this one to accompany me on my trip. This is the first time I have had active sake "Yukikko".
I shook the bottle before opening it, as I was told to "Shake it well before drinking. It has a beautiful cloudy white color like a snowy landscape.
The first sip has a sweet and tasty flavor like amazake, with a gutsy aftertaste. Oh, the alcohol content is 20 degrees. I can see why.
A cup of sake with a balance of umami and sweetness mixed in high concentration. It's a delicious ministry.
