I tried a junmai daiginjo lukewarm, which I had never tried before, and it was surprisingly delicious, giving me a glimpse into the new world of heated junmai daiginjos. Perhaps it is because it is a sweet brand, but I had the impression that it would be relaxing to drink in the cold. I would like to drink it at room temperature or below next time, as I felt that it is definitely delicious even when drunk chilled.

I couldn't forget how good it tasted the last time I drank it, so I tried it again. It has a moderate sweetness, umami, and richness. It has a full-bodied aftertaste with a flavor similar to amazake, but not as strong as the last time. Perhaps the passage of time since its production has slightly changed the quality of the sake. As it is a cold sake, it is good to drink with grilled salt-crusted swordfish, but it is also enjoyable to savor it on its own. It is also delicious at room temperature or lukewarm, especially at the same temperature as during the storage period.

It has a gorgeous aroma and fruity sweetness, giving the impression of a modern sake. It is easy to drink and has umami. It has the presence of a leading role. Sometimes I think "I want to drink it again. I was surprised to learn that this sake is offered to first class passengers on international flights, and I am convinced that it is delicious.

The fresh and juicy sweetness spreads on the palate with a soft scent of ginjo aroma, followed by a moderate sense of gas that brings a refreshing sensation. While the flavor is full, the aftertaste is clean and very delicious. This balance is rare for a junmai daiginjo, and I would definitely like to drink it again.
