I was curious about Laughing Four Seasons. At a liquor store, I was attracted by the phrase "If you are in doubt, this is the one! I was attracted by the phrase "If you are lost, this is the one! The red thread label is a cute type of label.
The aroma is not that strong, but the taste is rich. It has a mild sweetness like cotton candy or melon, which I quite like. There is almost no bitterness or sourness.
Since it is characterized by its sweetness, I think it tastes good at room temperature or slightly warmed. It might go well with white sauce or hot pot.

The top clear without mixing at first. It is thick and clear with a firm sweetness and flavor. When mixed, it is as if a curtain has been drawn over it, and the flavor assertion is weakened, but a sense of unity is achieved. I bought it the other day because I had a cup of 寫楽, which I drank at a Japanese restaurant. As it turned out, the taste was different from that time. Well, I don't have a very good palate, so I guess it can't be helped. When I drank it at the restaurant, I got the impression that it had a fresh sweetness, but when I drank it at home, I unexpectedly felt sourness and bitterness. There is no doubt that it tastes good, but there is a slight feeling that it is not this.

Since the last Laughing Four Seasons Monsoon Ginbuki was the last of the stock at home, I went to Asahiya Sake Brewery in Gotokuji, which has become a favorite of mine recently. And there it was: Monsoon Yamada Nishiki. I don't often get a chance to compare different rice varieties, so I bought it without hesitation. The aroma was more subdued than that of Ginfukiyuki, but the mouthfeel was also rather refreshing. The mouthfeel is also rather refreshing, but soon the umami and sweetness typical of kijo-zake spread out. I thought Yamada-Nishiki might be a rice whose characteristics are not so clear, but that might be a good thing because it doesn't make the kijo-zake too strong. It is delicious. I don't know which one is better than Ginbuki.

This is already at the level of a heart-stopper.

My favorite Kido, but sometimes with a different color label.
Karakuchi Kid is certainly drier than other Kido.
It has a crisp, clean finish, but with a fluffy, gentle mouthfeel.
But if anything, I prefer the Junmai sake with the red label.
This one might be better suited for summer.

The second one I never thought I would buy. Purchased this along with Senkori Momiji UA. It is refreshing, but the umami sweetness of the rice is quite strong. I feel it is somewhat Akita-like sake. It is delicious.

My favorite Houou Mita.
I had put it in the fridge for safekeeping, but when my beloved man (my son) came home, I was so happy that I opened it.
It tastes fruity and strong.
A gorgeous aroma with no cloying taste.

I never thought I would buy a UA maple. I never thought I would want it, but when I saw it, I bought it because I had to. It was quite acidic and went well with the beef casserole that the wife happened to make. Although it is not my original favorite flavor, I was reminded of the importance of the combination. It has the characteristics of Sentori, which is carefully crafted.

It is a very dry sake.
It goes well with meals.
It is a junmai daiginjo, so there is no cloying taste.
It has a clean taste that wakes you up, and has a deepness behind it.
It is a good sake that men seem to like.
