もけけI had wanted to try it after seeing someone buy 5 bottles at once last year saying, "I love this!
I was surprised when I took a sip and it was just like strawberries! I was surprised. I was surprised when I took a sip and it was just like strawberries!
The alcohol content is only 10 degrees, so it really goes down like a juice. sikamaruThe top clear without mixing at first. It is thick and clear with a firm sweetness and flavor. When mixed, it is as if a curtain has been drawn over it, and the flavor assertion is weakened, but a sense of unity is achieved. The bitterness and other miscellaneous tastes bring the flavors together. Which one do you like better, the top clear or the bottom clear? Let's try it again tomorrow. chocolatAlthough much sweeter than I prefer, it has a clean aftertaste and is not unpleasantly sweet.
Fruity aroma like pineapple and apple.
Dark, clean taste, very tasty.
Purchased at Asahiya Sake Shop for 1660 yen.
4.2/5.0 sikamaruI bought it the other day because I had a cup of 寫楽, which I drank at a Japanese restaurant. As it turned out, the taste was different from that time. Well, I don't have a very good palate, so I guess it can't be helped. When I drank it at the restaurant, I got the impression that it had a fresh sweetness, but when I drank it at home, I unexpectedly felt sourness and bitterness. There is no doubt that it tastes good, but there is a slight feeling that it is not this.
sikamaruSince the last Laughing Four Seasons Monsoon Ginbuki was the last of the stock at home, I went to Asahiya Sake Brewery in Gotokuji, which has become a favorite of mine recently. And there it was: Monsoon Yamada Nishiki. I don't often get a chance to compare different rice varieties, so I bought it without hesitation. The aroma was more subdued than that of Ginfukiyuki, but the mouthfeel was also rather refreshing. The mouthfeel is also rather refreshing, but soon the umami and sweetness typical of kijo-zake spread out. I thought Yamada-Nishiki might be a rice whose characteristics are not so clear, but that might be a good thing because it doesn't make the kijo-zake too strong. It is delicious. I don't know which one is better than Ginbuki. chocolatI still love Hououmida♡!
A beautiful sake with just the right amount of acidity, gorgeous aroma, and dark flavor!
This is already at the level of a heart-stopper.
I want to drink it well chilled.
4.8/5.0 chocolatMy favorite Kido, but sometimes with a different color label.
Karakuchi Kid is certainly drier than other Kido.
It has a crisp, clean finish, but with a fluffy, gentle mouthfeel.
But if anything, I prefer the Junmai sake with the red label.
This one might be better suited for summer.
4.0/5.0 sikamaruThe second one I never thought I would buy. Purchased this along with Senkori Momiji UA. It is refreshing, but the umami sweetness of the rice is quite strong. I feel it is somewhat Akita-like sake. It is delicious. chocolatDry and robust.
Goes well with meals.
It is good at room temperature, and has a bitterness when cooled.
It may be good lukewarm.
3.9/5.0 chocolatMy favorite Houou Mita.
I had put it in the fridge for safekeeping, but when my beloved man (my son) came home, I was so happy that I opened it.
It tastes fruity and strong.
A gorgeous aroma with no cloying taste.
Delicious~!
4.8/5.0 sikamaruI never thought I would buy a UA maple. I never thought I would want it, but when I saw it, I bought it because I had to. It was quite acidic and went well with the beef casserole that the wife happened to make. Although it is not my original favorite flavor, I was reminded of the importance of the combination. It has the characteristics of Sentori, which is carefully crafted. chocolatWow!
Is it an eight-grave village? That's the name of the sake.
I had it selected again at Asahiya Sake Shop.
The price is 1,715 yen.
It is a very dry sake.
It goes well with meals.
It is a junmai daiginjo, so there is no cloying taste.
It has a clean taste that wakes you up, and has a deepness behind it.
It is a good sake that men seem to like.
4.1/5.0 もよもよHana Yuu is very hard to find. This one was made with rice from the future of sake and was a spec of raw sake.
Hanamup has a fruity but also honey-like sweetness. I thought Sake Mirai would be a rice that would have a light sake quality, but this sake is solidly sweet. It is a very tasty sake with a dark flavor, rich and slightly bitter, like a mixture of peaches and grapes.
I think this sake would be good with cheese, peaches, or mango. It is easy to drink with a fruity flavor, as is typical of nama-shu. If you don't like it strong, it is surely good with ice and soda.
Purchased from: Asahiya Sake Shop Gassan裏月山 縁 しぼりたて無濾過生原酒純米吟醸原酒生酒無濾過
もよもよUra-Gassan is a rare sake with very limited distribution and is a challenge sake made by the brewer and a volunteer sake shop. The liquor store from which it was purchased said that it was the best sake in a poll of the best sake in the liquor store that has been held for the past 10 years. It must be delicious, as the seller has given his stamp of approval.
First of all, the aroma after opening the bottle is very nice. It smells fruity, like mango and mandarin oranges. The taste is also fruity, like a fruit mix. It is a dark liquor, as it is called "original sake," and there is not much bitterness in the aftertaste. This is tremendously delicious.
According to the liquor store, because of the strong flavor of the sake itself, it is better to drink by itself or with strong flavored food than as a food wine. This is true, and it would probably go well with meaty Western-style dishes. It is very rare, but if I see it again, I will get my hands on it.
