Sawanoi's dry nigori sake. Cheap and tasty, an honorable mention. It has a sweet aroma like yogurt. It is said to be dry, but the sweetness can be felt. The umami flavor comes out well, and it finishes refreshingly with a sense of effervescence and bitterness. This is one of my favorite bottles that I am glad to have encountered this year.

Sawanoi's newest sake, junmai nama sake. The aroma is refreshing. Strong, just strong..." unintentionally leaks the line of the head of Aoba Junior High School. It is sweet and bitter with a long aftertaste. The endorsement of Sawanoi's sake expresses the flavor beautifully. I like it.

Haneya has been on my mind lately. I bought a bottle of Classic without knowing what the standard is. The aroma has a faint fruity sweetness. What a gentle taste. The sweetness, acidity, and bitterness are all soft. Although it is a Classic, it has a modern Japanese sake feel.

It has been a long time since Yamaboshi. I was surprised to find a liquor store in my neighborhood stocking it. I have a memory of drinking it at the corner of a liquor store in Ebina and being impressed. It is a beautiful light nigori. The aroma is sweet and full of grain. Mmmm, it's delicious. This is good. I can't describe the taste. Let's see, is it sweet and sour like yogurt? It has a lot of umami, but the refreshing acidity and fine fizziness make it easy to enjoy. No, no, it is simply delicious.

Haneya was recommended to me at the liquor store. It was still hot and humid in the latter half of October, so I asked him if he would recommend a sparkling wine. When I opened the bottle, I was excited to see the fruity aroma and the way it popped when opened. The aroma was very sweet and fruity. Hmmm...? When I drank it, the fizziness was subdued. Or perhaps it is finer than anything I have ever tasted before. It has a fruity and fresh taste like a Japanese pear, and is extremely delicious. This is perfect for a humid day like today.

Shoryu Hourai's Namaishime style warmed sake. Shoryu Hourai's sake is really good as a warmed sake. Well, basically, all the Junmai sake from Shoryu is good when it is warmed up... We will enjoy it very warmed up. The aroma of the sake is enchanting. The color is a deep yellow. It's delicious. And it develops quickly. The peculiarity, deliciousness, acidity, and astringency are all fast. It makes me happy to see it go through so much.

Special Junmai sake from the south. I like special junmai because it's cheap and tasty. The aroma is a little sour. There may be a faint muscat-like aroma... I have never heard of Matsuyama Mitsui before. Is it read as "Matsuyama Mii"? I thought the attack was light and careless, but I was surprised to be hit by a solid feeling like a lead ball. The astringent taste on the back palate is strong and powerful, typical of the south. There is a hint of sweetness, but it is a bit like opening a door and letting your face peek out, only to have the door slam shut when someone notices. I don't know, that's a strange way to describe it.

The sweet aroma is strong. A straight-forward junmai sake. The rice flavor and sweetness are well expressed, with the strength and freshness typical of nama sake. There is a faintly peculiar peculiar or fruity flavor... banana-like? And I also like the powdery taste that seems to tangle with the tongue. The seasonal entrée is baked fava beans with their pods.
