Shoryu Hourai's Namaishime style warmed sake. Shoryu Hourai's sake is really good as a warmed sake. Well, basically, all the Junmai sake from Shoryu is good when it is warmed up... We will enjoy it very warmed up. The aroma of the sake is enchanting. The color is a deep yellow. It's delicious. And it develops quickly. The peculiarity, deliciousness, acidity, and astringency are all fast. It makes me happy to see it go through so much.

Tanzanian Yushin Blue. The aroma is almost imperceptible. Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama Sake from Sagaminada. It has a slightly sweet and sour taste with a modest ginjo aroma like grapes. The alcohol content is not high, but after swallowing, a feeling of alcohol spreads in the mouth. It is a delicious sake that can be drunk all the time while leisurely picking things up.

Special Junmai sake from the south. I like special junmai because it's cheap and tasty. The aroma is a little sour. There may be a faint muscat-like aroma... I have never heard of Matsuyama Mitsui before. Is it read as "Matsuyama Mii"? I thought the attack was light and careless, but I was surprised to be hit by a solid feeling like a lead ball. The astringent taste on the back palate is strong and powerful, typical of the south. There is a hint of sweetness, but it is a bit like opening a door and letting your face peek out, only to have the door slam shut when someone notices. I don't know, that's a strange way to describe it.

Today, the first day of spring, it was cold in Tokyo under a cloud of doldrums. We celebrate the coming of spring with our favorite pine midori. It's cold, but with cold sake... The sweet aroma is strong. A straight-forward junmai sake. The rice flavor and sweetness are well expressed, with the strength and freshness typical of nama sake. There is a faintly peculiar peculiar or fruity flavor... banana-like? And I also like the powdery taste that seems to tangle with the tongue. The seasonal entrée is baked fava beans with their pods.

A new sake from Izumihashi's Raku-fu-mai. The robust aroma of rice without playfulness is delightful. The flavor and sweetness of the rice are well expressed even though it is a new sake. The fresh acidity is typical of new sake.

I didn't know Sawanoi had nigori sake...and the words "dry" were prominently displayed on the bottle. Yes, it is delicious. It's smooth, with a refreshing acidity...no, no, even though it's dry, it's got a rich, undulating flavor, and it's the best of the best. And it's cheap. What more can one ask for?

Takeyoshi "I Love You" from Concept Worker's Selection. Sweet aroma of rice. The rice flavor and sweetness are well expressed and delicious. The fine bubbles pop and the acidity spreads. First Concept Worker's Selection in a long time. I was attracted by the persimmon label. The aroma is more cemedine than fruity. The color is exactly like a persimmon. The sense that the sake has been well aged in the traditional sake brewing process is evident in the bottle. It has a sugary taste like plum wine, but it is not too sweet and has a refreshing finish.
