First Concept Worker's Selection in a long time. I was attracted by the persimmon label. The aroma is more cemedine than fruity. The color is exactly like a persimmon. The sense that the sake has been well aged in the traditional sake brewing process is evident in the bottle. It has a sugary taste like plum wine, but it is not too sweet and has a refreshing finish.

Autumn dragonflies at Izumi Bridge. No scent at all? Is that possible? Wow, as expected of Izumibashi. Unlike the label, the taste is not so catchy. Pine midori no akiagari. Sweet rice aroma. A soft, good sake with a fluffy rice flavor. As is typical of the autumn flavor, there is a rather strong lingering aftertaste at the end. I wonder if this...shouldn't be heated up? I was told at the liquor store that it is not suitable for heating up, but maybe it can be heated up in the sun or something?

Please give me some oringo from Zanso Hourai. The liquor store stocked it this year. I'm so happy. The aroma is modest. It has a certain apple flavor. And the fizziness is strong. The acidity is nice. The sweetness is not that strong. It could be a little more sake-like. But it is delicious.

Opened September 5, 2023 Purchased at Maruchu Sake Shop, Nakano-Fujimicho Gentle on the palate at first, but gradually assertive... Light feathery but thuddingly iron ball! Long lingering finish... ☺️ The end result is a full-bodied sweetness and a traditional sake feel. But not at all unpleasant to drink, a new pattern for me 😆.

The first fall sake of the year is Purple Space. Nice label. The aroma is full of gentle rice aroma. It is very rich. The rich flavor is typical of autumn sake. It was just right because it got a little cooler at night today. It seems to go well with autumn foods that will be delicious from now on.

Hanagaki was recommended to me by a liquor store as a bottle that goes well with on the rocks. This is my first time drinking this brand. First, let's drink it as it is. The unique aroma of a sake yeast yeast yeast strain. Ah, I see, I see... It's a strong, raw sake with a moderate sweetness that comes on strong. The expectation for on the rocks is high. Then, the long-awaited on the rocks. Wow, it smells great on the rocks. As expected of Yamahai. It is delicious. A little sweetness and acidity stand out. It is a luxurious combination of rice shochu and sake.

Higashi Tsuru Sparkling. This is the first time for both the brand and the sparkling. Sparkling is clearly different from fermentation-derived sparkling. Sake and carbonation go surprisingly well together. But, well...maybe once every couple of years? I'm sure the base flavor is good, but the carbonation might make it a little hard to tell.

I opened the bottle 🍶 because I wanted to drink a sweet, sour and refreshing sake in the summer heat. The aroma is sweet and sour, but the top aroma is not so strong. The first sip has a refreshing sourness 🍎 and a refreshing umami taste. It is quite sharp and dry. I drank sake made with Koshi, Amemori, Hato Masamune, and Aoringo-Pom-Pom-Ringo acid yeast🍎🍏, but Zanso Hourai was the most refreshing, the most sake-like, and the most dry. All are delicious though🍶.

Kidoizumi was recommended by the liquor store. I bought it after tasting it. The aroma is clean with a hint of zing. The attack is sharp, but the sweetness and umami spread later, and the grape-like flavor comes through at the end. Is that what purple means?

This is also recommended by the liquor store, Hiroki. I knew Tobiroki from Fukushima, but I didn't know there was another brand called Hiroki in Iwate. It has a faint sweet aroma like green apples. The color looks very delicious. The rich flavor and sweetness spread out, and the freshness and richness that is typical of nama-zake are the most powerful impact I've had recently.

We will have two bottles recommended by the liquor store. The first one is Suifu Boast No. 10. He said it was similar to Zancho Horai Queen. Well, it certainly has similar sourness and sweetness. However, this one has a stronger fizziness and alcohol content, so it comes with a big thump. And the aftertaste is dry. This is quite tasty. I was not into the label, so I did not buy it.

Here it is - my favorite Zanso Hourai. Fresh aroma like green apple. Despite the sweet and sour aroma, it has a dry taste. After all, Zancho is delicious. It is a great technique to remove the sake-like taste without sacrificing the sake flavor. Kanagawa sake is delicious.
