Slightly yellow. Hot sake.
It is the first dry sake I have had in a long time. The aroma has a peculiar aroma and a mild bitterness.
This is the only picture I could take.
At first you think it is refreshing, but then the sweetness of the rice comes to your mouth, and the sweetness disappears before long, leaving a slightly sour taste.
Serve with raw oysters.

I've had Gincup before, but this is my first time to try Kincup. I had it cold, as recommended, along with the yudofu-maki.
It was refreshing and fresh in the mouth, but left a strong aftertaste.
I wonder how Ginkap was like... I will compare next time.
Made with wine yeast. It has a refreshing, light, white wine-like taste, but the aftertaste has a strong rice flavor. The acidity and bitterness linger.
It has a strong sweetness. However, the acidity and sake are also strong, so the total drink is not so bad.
It went well with well seasoned salmon roe.
I bought this on a trip to Yamagata. It is a Yamagata limited edition.
Dry but moderately sweet. Drinkable with a firm aftertaste. As it gets to room temperature, the gentle sweetness comes forward.
Serve it with tuna zuke.
Mild taste in the mouth. The sweetness spreads quickly, and the bitterness and sourness remain in the mouth naturally.
I served it with karinto, but it went surprisingly well with it. It goes well with sweet foods as well.
Golden color sake. Sweet and sour, with a sake feel that lingers afterwards.
I had it with shellfish, but it could have been served with a more peculiar entrée.
It has a strong flavor, but the aftertaste disappears quickly, so it's not too harsh but refreshing, and you can enjoy it all the way through.
I had it with shishito peppers.
First cup of sake in a long time. Not too sweet, just a hint of sweetness. The nigori (nigori is a kind of cloudy taste) is quite strong and lingers in the mouth.
It's been a while, but this is the third Izumo Homare sake comparison. Today's sake is Junmai.
It is refreshing, but the aftertaste is more bland than that of the freshly stored sake.
Izumo Honor drinking comparison. Today, I selected a fresh stored sake out of the three.
I drank it cold. It was very dry, but the spiciness was gone without leaving a lingering taste in the mouth. It's a young sake with a smooth taste.
With smoked buritoba.
