Mellow sake. The aroma is light, but the taste has a strong sweetness from the rice! It was easy to drink, yet refreshing without any peculiarities.
It has the feel of a Niigata sake!
Kaoru Sake. The sake I bought on my trip to Niigata was handled at a store I frequent: ....... It's good because it's delicious. I am happy to drink it again!
It's refreshingly sweet, gassy and delicious. I recommend it!
Kaoru-shu. I had a hard time deciding between this and Soushu, but I went with Kaoru-shu because it has the sweet aroma that is typical of Mutsu Hachisen and is very gentle. It has a good balance of freshness and maturity!
Sake rice: Miyamanishiki
Mellow sake. From the moment it is poured, it has a mellow aroma! Although it is described as dry, it is very mild on the palate. It has a very crisp aftertaste. It was quite strong and sharp when served cold, so it would be good to drink it warmed.
Sake with a hint of saké. When you put it close to your mouth, it smells like sweet candy cotton candy, and when you put it on your palate, you can feel the tangy carbonation underneath. It tasted like green apple with a honey-like sweetness!
Refreshing sake. It has a fresh, raw-like flavor, even though it has been fire-brewed once. It's straightforward without any off-flavors. I already fell in love with the label at first sight and bought it at a liquor store as a souvenir of my trip to Sendai! Gentle taste but high alcohol content😅.
It is from the same brewery as the Hagi no Tsuru I first drank in Sendai.
