I'm late to the party, but Tasake de Valentine!
I had heard that it was a kijoshu, so I imagined it to be extremely sweet, but it is a very elegant sweetness.
Mild on the palate, yet rich and dry on the throat. I have been drinking a lot of light sake recently, and this reminds me of what sake is supposed to be like.
Purchased at a brewery in Miyagi. It is dry in its own way, but it has a strong flavor, gorgeousness, and a slight gaseous taste.
I heard that Miyakanbai goes well with cream and cheese, so I tried it with crackers and cheese.
I drank a tonic-alternative in Miyagi and it was delicious.
The Ichinokura website says to mix tonic and carbonated water, but tonic-only is also good.
