Mild on the palate, yet rich and dry on the throat. I have been drinking a lot of light sake recently, and this reminds me of what sake is supposed to be like.
Purchased at a brewery in Miyagi. It is dry in its own way, but it has a strong flavor, gorgeousness, and a slight gaseous taste.
I heard that Miyakanbai goes well with cream and cheese, so I tried it with crackers and cheese.
I drank a tonic-alternative in Miyagi and it was delicious.
The Ichinokura website says to mix tonic and carbonated water, but tonic-only is also good.
It is a limited edition from a brewery. It may seem a little short because we drank the Junmai Daiginjo first, but it has the sweetness and umami of rice.
The aftertaste is clean and doesn't interfere with food, as is the case with most Miyakanbai.
