I've had about three different kinds of Sairei, and I think I might like them all. Each one has its own characteristics, but this nama-gara sake has a good balance of sweetness and acidity, making it easy to drink. In addition, as the blue label says, it has a refreshing aroma that goes right to your nose. On the one hand, I think it's a sake that should be better known to everyone, but on the other hand, I don't want it to become too hard to find, so I'm hoping it stays that way.

This time, we had it with sashimi of medium fatty tuna, engawa, and octopus, but the sake's assertiveness was so strong that it was more like a sake that didn't interfere with the meal, and we enjoyed each flavor as we ate.
