Saku Z Junmai-shu. Last night, I went with my wife Bibi to an izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where we always have a great time. It is fruity, but it is very refreshing, so it doesn't interfere with the food. Last night, we had it with beef tataki, chicken wings, blue crab, etc.

This is Shirataka Ise Jingu Goryoshu Special Junmai Sake. Today, Bibi's wife was at an autumn festival at a nearby shrine as a band event, so I went to see them myself. They did a great job on stage for about an hour. So I had Ise Jingu Goryoshu tonight. I enjoyed the taste of rice.

This is Tenmei Hakuten. Today, Bibi, my wife and I went for a drive to Toyokita on the roadside station Kitaura Kaido. We had a Shimonoseki seafood lunch and bought some afterwards. The fruity taste and the moderate fizziness are irresistible. Together with eggplant, molokheiya, and tuna heart pump that we procured together.

This is Echino Hachiho Echigo Sweet Sake Junmai Sake. Today, Bibi's wife and I took the Nishikigawa Railway and the Iwatoku Line, as a trip to replenish our iron reserves. After returning to Tokuyama Station, we had it at Yatai Sushi in front of the station. It was a sweet junmai sake with the flavor of rice. Tonight, we had it with chicken wings and shime-nigiri-zushi.

This is Toyo Bijin, a collaboration with Marukyu, a local supermarket. It is gorgeous and fruity, so you can enjoy it on its own. Tonight, I will enjoy it with Gansu.

It is Satsushu Masamune Junmai sake. Bibi and his wife took a vacation in Kagoshima. We had this sake at a pub near the Tenmonkan. Since we came all the way to Kagoshima, we had shochu, but we also had sake. This sake has a sweet taste of rice, and it goes well with Kagoshima dishes. We had it with tobiko (flying fish) dipped in soy sauce and other dishes.

It is a Junmai Daiginjo of brewer's kuheiji. I went back home with my wife, Bibi, and we had a consolation party at an izakaya near Nagoya station. The moderate acidity of this sake did not lose to the strongly seasoned Nagoya rice. We enjoyed it with Nagoya Cochin Negimata and grilled tuna cheeks.

This is Kunimori Junmai Ginjo Handago. I had it at Maruha Shokudo (restaurant) in Nagoya Station on a business trip. It is good to drink with a meal because you can taste the flavor of rice with a clean aftertaste. The plump shrimp were also delicious. Tonight, we will enjoy it with fried shrimp set menus.
