Hakkaisan Special Honjozo. Tonight, my wife and I went to an izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where we always have a good time. We had ankimo, steamed himegai clams with sake, assorted tempura, yellowtail kama, etc., and finished with beef tendon curry. Hakkaisan is a light, easy-drinking sake that went perfectly with the fish dishes.

It is Junmai-shu at the foot of the east. I received this sake as a shareholder's special benefit catalog gift, as I did last time. It was a set to compare sake, but the rice was more highly polished than the last one, so it was drier and more refreshing. Tonight, I will enjoy it with bonito tataki.

Sorry for the delay, but Happy New Year! Houraisen Kata.　It is a special junmai sake. I am currently back home in Nagoya. I bought this sake at a local convenience store to drink at home. It is refreshing and easy to drink. It went perfectly with the salty taste of the potato longs that were left at my parents' house.

Tonight, my wife and I went to a Chinese restaurant in our neighborhood. We had a course meal that included Peking duck, stir-fried beef with oyster sauce, abalone and shark's fin stew, and fried rice for dinner. Harada is fruity, so I enjoyed it with simmered dishes and fried rice. The price was reasonable because of the shareholder's special benefit.

After returning home, we went to an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) where we always have a good time. The sake was dry, so I was able to drink it in large gulps. Since I was alone today, I had beef tataki, swordfish tempura, and curry for shime.

I had prepared this as a gift for a client's reception, but one of the guests had to cancel his attendance unexpectedly, so I had to have it myself. It is fruity but easy to drink with a clean aftertaste, but when I compared it with Sanwari Kubun before, I felt Sanwari Kubun was more fruity ... .

As this sake is a collaboration between Toyo Bijin's Sumikawa Brewery and Marukyu, a neighborhood supermarket, we had no hesitation in procuring it. It is fruity, but it is refreshing and does not interfere with food. Tonight, I served it with sauteed mushrooms.

It is a nigori sake from Shin Niwa. I went to Yatai Sushi with my wife Bibi, who has a special benefit for Yatai Sushi shareholders. In addition to the seafood salad and fried lebanilla, we had sardine sashimi, deep-fried tuna blood, and monkfish, and finished with nigiri-zushi. We had a special benefit program for shareholders, so the price was about half of the original price, which was very reasonable.

It is an interesting world of no interesting things by Yaoshin Shuzo, a well-known sake brewer known for its ganki. I always buy this sake because I can find it in the supermarket near my house. Otokoyama Namoto Junmai. The restaurant we stopped at in Otaru was reasonably priced, and we enjoyed a set of abalone sashimi and grilled abalone, as well as sashimi of shako (giant clam). Otokoyama has a slightly sweet taste that does not interfere with the food.

Akabu Dry Junmai Sake. Next is Akabu from Iwate Prefecture. This one is also refreshing and easy to drink, so you can drink as much as you want. Here, it is served with kombu shime of musuko (muscle roe) and mascarpone with plum crystals.
