Today, Bibi's wife and I took the Nishikigawa Railway and the Iwatoku Line, as a trip to replenish our iron reserves. After returning to Tokuyama Station, we had it at Yatai Sushi in front of the station.
It was a sweet junmai sake with the flavor of rice.
Tonight, we had it with chicken wings and shime-nigiri-zushi.
Spicy Niwa Fresh Storage.
I went to Yadai Sushi with my bibi wife and had it. Since we have a shareholder special benefit, we were able to get reasonably priced sushi, including the last nigiri sushi.
Tonight, we had sea bream seared with ponzu sauce.
This is Toyo Bijin, a collaboration with Marukyu, a local supermarket.
It is gorgeous and fruity, so you can enjoy it on its own.
Tonight, I will enjoy it with Gansu.
Tenpyo Junmai Ginjo.
Today we took the sightseeing train, Ibusuki no Tamatebako, and then traveled to Kirishima.
It was fruity and easy to drink, and paired perfectly with the course meal of grilled shrimp in pie wraps.
It is Satsushu Masamune Junmai sake.
Bibi and his wife took a vacation in Kagoshima. We had this sake at a pub near the Tenmonkan. Since we came all the way to Kagoshima, we had shochu, but we also had sake. This sake has a sweet taste of rice, and it goes well with Kagoshima dishes.
We had it with tobiko (flying fish) dipped in soy sauce and other dishes.
Chifuku Summer Mari Nigori Sake.
It is nigori sake, but it is crisp, so it is good for this season. You can drink it in small gulps.
Tonight, I served it with fried ganmono with yuzu peel from Oita Prefecture.
This is Doala and Two Rabbits. I procured this when I went back home the other day.
It is fruity but has a clean aftertaste, so it doesn't interfere with the meal.

It is a Junmai Daiginjo of brewer's kuheiji.
I went back home with my wife, Bibi, and we had a consolation party at an izakaya near Nagoya station.
The moderate acidity of this sake did not lose to the strongly seasoned Nagoya rice.
We enjoyed it with Nagoya Cochin Negimata and grilled tuna cheeks.
After returning from a business trip to Toyama, I met up with my bibi wife and went to Yadai-zushi in front of the station.
I always order this sake, but this is the first time it has been served in this style.
It is dry, so I thought it would be good not to interfere with the food.
Haneya This is a drop of Haneya with a lot of thought.
I had this one on a business trip to Toyama. It was slightly carbonated and pleasant to the palate.
This is Kunimori Junmai Ginjo Handago.
I had it at Maruha Shokudo (restaurant) in Nagoya Station on a business trip.
It is good to drink with a meal because you can taste the flavor of rice with a clean aftertaste. The plump shrimp were also delicious.

Narimasa Junmai Sake.
This is the last in the series of Toyama's local sake. It is full-bodied and very drinkable. It is as good as today's snacks.
Tonight, we will have it with char-grilled chicken halami.
Tateyama Ginjo-shu.
This is the third bottle in the Toyama local sake series. It has a sharp taste, but you can also taste the umami of the rice.
Tonight, we will enjoy it with ponzu (Japanese sauce made of white cod roe).
