I bought it on a trip to Kesennuma and opened it (a little early) because it was New Year's Day!
Sweet and gorgeously fragrant, this is greeted with plum crystals made from sharks from Kesennuma!
This time of year I open a four-pack every day 😂.
(Not that I drink it in one day, but it's a good thing...)
Sake Mirai O Eikofuji is a sweet modern taste!
The first sober Gagakuyo to drink!
Slightly sweet!
I'm looking forward to the taste change after a few days! (I drink too much, so there's not much left...)
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 🌞.
Gagakuyo, it was delicious! I'm happy to hear that the number of alcoholic beverages I want to buy at the end of the year is increasing every year 😂.
This year, too, I was able to buy it (after taking a guess at the time and day of the week at the online store of a liquor store I know very well)! I have a few others in the pipeline, but I'll start with Hirotogawa!
It has a strong gaseous taste when opened! It tastes like nigori.
I like this one, too, but I like to enjoy the taste after the bottle has been open for a few days to let it settle down!
Tonight we will have yellowtail shabu-shabu!
ps.
I drank two and a half cups in one day while saying that I like it after a few days.
An unlikely product, plum wine in jelly form!
It's refreshing and very good to drink!
(As an aside, it reminds me of the fute fute jelly I used to drink after club activities in high school.)
One weekday last week, at a sake bar in Yokohama that specializes in Chiba sake.
I don't remember the details of the taste (sweat), but it was delicious, with a clean, sweet taste!
I've had Sentori from seasoners (Snowman, etc.), but this may be my first sober Sentori.
There were three types of Sentori: Ara, Naka, and Seme, but I bought the Naka.
The pleasant gasiness, sweetness, and fresh aroma are very good!
Purchased on a trip to Sea Kyoto in September. I paired it with bonito tataki.
It is said to be the best food sake, but the modern gasiness and sweetness are its strong points, but the aftertaste is natural and not boring at all!
Quite a favorite!
Purchased on a trip to Sanriku!
Tonight, since no one will go out with me, I'm going to have it with a side of Izuru Yoshida's "Barroom Nomadism" (tears).
It has a sweetness, but also has a rice feel to it!
The fourth Higashi Rikishi brand, this one is Orikarami!
The unripe brand of Azuma Rikishi is relatively light, but this one is a little more drinkable and sweet!
This one is also very much to my liking! Plum crystal and yam as a side dish!
I bought this when I visited a sake brewery last month.
It has a classic, rough aroma that is the essence of Japanese sake. It is best served at room temperature, not chilled, and goes well with hot soba noodles and nabe dishes!
Today's third East Rikishi, the freshly squeezed sake is very light, in contrast to the aged sake! It has a faint scent of muscat.
There was also a collaboration product from Chuzu Tabi, but I'll get to that one (since I haven't opened it yet) some other time.
