Are you studying sake?
I am doing a little bit of studying because I think that by knowing more about sake, I can enjoy and taste sake more.
However, whether it is due to aging or the fact that I am not very smart to begin with, my knowledge is not staying with me at all 🥲.

I attended a sake tasting & study session at a sake bar I frequent and learned a lot!
The first drink there was Shinomine 🥂 a brand I wanted to drink: ❗️
Sweet aroma like peach and cotton candy 😍Slightly effervescent, fresh, sweet and delicious on the palate ✨and a dignified kick at the end.
It was delicious and to my liking: ☺️
I'm learning as I drink so I can't remember it all?

Kouei Kiku's newest 🤩 sake!
The goal of this sake is to create a bold and mellow flavor!
It is indeed bold and mellow! But it also has acidity and a modern feel 🥰.
The samurai on the back label is said to be inspired by the moment of the young resolution of Takanobu Ryuzoji, a feudal lord from Hizen, which is cool!

Houou Mita Goshinshu ver.
This is Houou Mita, which was dedicated at the prayer for the beginning of my bad luck and brought back to me by the spiritual power of God.
At the New Year's party at work, I opened this sake and people who rarely drink sake said "it's easy to drink ❕ it's delicious ❕". ☺️
It says "dry" but I think it was sweet-tasty and easy to drink ❕I was drinking too much and don't remember much...

This Sentori "Asahi" is made from "Asahi" edible rice produced in Okayama Prefecture.
Asahi rice? 🤔
Research shows that Asahi is a rare species of rice grown in Okayama Prefecture that has not been artificially bred, and is the ancestor of Koshihikari and Sasanishiki.
It also seems to be known as an excellent edible rice that sushi chefs and chefs at high-class restaurants nominate, but it takes a lot of time and effort to cultivate, and the number of producers has decreased so much that it is also called "phantom rice". Anyway, it is said to be a delicious rice.

Hello! KOUEIGIKU is a lightly cloudy version of Aizan!
KOUEIGIKU Aizan is available in two types this year: Sumi-shu (clear sake) and Usunigori (light nigori), and the way to distinguish them is that the crown of Sumi-shu is gold and the crown of Usunigori is silver.
I didn't know that when I bought it, and they look exactly the same! I couldn't tell the difference 🤣.
Then, I poured it slowly into a glass and drank only the top clear liquid....
Nice aroma like muscat ☺️Petite and strong acidity 😊.
