So much effervescence that when I removed the plastic cover, the cork flew off on its own 😳. First impression like a sparkling wine. Not much sweetness. Vanilla flavor as the carbonation goes away. It's quite complex. A little expensive, but an interesting drink.

Rikuwaden is an unfamiliar sake rice. A quick search on the Internet revealed that it is a sake rice provided by the brewer of Jyushiyo. It had a pleasant aroma and a rich sweetness. It is a little too sweet, but as you drink it, you can taste the richness of the flavor.

It has a sense of maturity. Quite rich. Slightly yellowish. When cooled in the freezer, the sweetness increases at once, almost like plum wine. I wonder if this type of sake tends to do so. The temperature in the refrigerator is just right for a good balance of acidity and umami.
