It was a Junmai Daiginjo, a raw sake directly from the brewery, which is only available at certain buckwheat noodle shops. It was indeed gorgeous, fresh and delicious!

All are good. Junmai Daiginjo (Amagase Tensei) is a sake to be enjoyed as it is, without any cloying taste. The lower milling ratio gives it a spiciness that is typical of sake, and it is good when paired with a good pick-me-up.
