My throat hasn't been feeling well recently and I wanted to drink a shwash, so I chose this bottle!
It had just the right amount of carbonation and a sweetness and flavor that lingered in the mouth forever.
This is another Ryujinmaru that I finally got around to drinking.
First impression is the chocolatey sweetness that comes with the first sip!
Personally, I was more taken by the unique flavor than the impression of sourness.
It was sweet, but it was different from free tea.
It's been a few years since I've had a gift from you.
It doesn't have a strong sharpness,
It does not have a strong sharpness, nor does it have that much acidity,
It is a sake that gives a sense of calm umami.
It is a little different from the impression I had in the past.
This time I keenly felt the difference between sake that is good with food and sake that is good on its own.
For me, Drunken Whale is in the category of food sake.
I thought it would be a good substitute for rice, partly because it's junmai (pure rice).
My impression of this sake has changed a lot since the last time I drank it.
The fruity flavor that combines acidity and sweetness at the same time is impressive, but it also leaves an astringent aftertaste.
This sake reminded me of how sake is made nowadays.
At this stage, I felt more impressive fruitiness than Kaze no Mori.
No photo because I received one cup of sake to share with others.
The aroma is unlike any sake I've ever had!
Smoothness and sweetness are amazing!
Thank you for this very rare sake!
