Junmai Ginjo was my boom, and I used to drink it cold all the time, but since it was the season for hot sake, I tried my hand at Yamahai Junmai. I wasn't as crazy about it as I was about the ginjo-shu, but I preferred it at room temperature without heating up.
Bought dry for hot sake.
It says it won a gold medal in a hot sake contest, but it is ordinary.
I looked at it carefully and saw that it was in the "value hot sake" category.
That makes sense.
I found a new sake called "Shiboritate Shinshu" from Kaygetsu, which I have recently become addicted to. It was a little expensive. I followed the recommendation and had it cold.
It was good. Mild acidity. My favorite type.
Circle.
Easy to drink, but! Sourness and a little bit of a sour taste in the aftertaste.
I drank it at room temperature, but it might be better to warm it up.

I've always kind of disliked the acidity of nama-shu, but not this one!
It has a delicious aftertaste or lingering aftertaste, and I could drink it all the time.

The store owner said it was heavy and spicy, and he was right.
Note that although the alcohol content is high, it's easy to drink!
We had it cold to warmed, but I think cold sake is fine as well.
