Although the rice polishing ratio is 60%, it has a complex flavor. It is supposed to be a junmai sake, but it is unusual in that it gives me a hangover. There is a bit of bitterness.
I got it at Miyajima on my usual trip to Ueda this year.
It is served chilled.
It has a bitter taste that I like and is refreshing.
Good for sipping while watching TV at night.
Obtained from Tsukiya Sake Shop.
Full of the sweetness and deliciousness of carefully produced rice!
Sweet and refreshing.
A taste only available now ^_^
Hakkaiyama Junmai-shu, sold only in the Uonuma area.
It is crisp and spicy with a clean finish.
Not too spicy.
I'd like to have some strong-flavored snacks, such as karaumi (dried mullet roe).
It is not a sake, but an authentic shochu made by Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, well known for its Saku brand, when the company was still Shimizu Brewery.
We found it at the usual Tsukiya Sake Shop.
It has a delicious, fruity, buckwheat aroma!
They don't make it anymore, I guess it's a rare item. I'll drink it with care.
When I had just turned 20, I drank Masumi for the first time and loved it. Tsuruya original, my favorite supermarket in Nagano.
It is a junmai ginjo, but I love the taste of the rice and koji malt. The sweet flavor of Masumi is the origin of my love for sweet sake.
I got a bottle of Nanaken Sparkling last year. I wanted to drink it on a big day, but such a day doesn't come often, so I open a bottle every day for a little sake.
The taste of rice is good, but it is a little sweet.
Is it too easy to drink?
At Tsukiya Sake Shop, I asked for a much darker sake that I can drink every day!
I asked Tsukiya Sake Brewery to give me a dry sake that I can drink in small doses every day.
I asked for a dry sake that I could drink in small sips every day.
It is crisp, spicy, thick, and delicious, but it could be a little more fruity.
It was so good that we ran out on the fifth day.
The last bottle of the souvenir series.
This is Mikotsuru's raw sake, which last year was a junmai sake.
This one! Fresh and new-born!
Junmai sake has a slight peculiar taste that I like, but the bubbles softly neutralized it and made it nice.
I don't need any snacks. I drink it in the middle of the night.
It's open!
Elegant sweet and sour. It has a slight astringency, but the fruity taste stands out.
I've been into sake ✖️fruit lately, and this was perfect for pears. Delicious ^_^
Souvenirs, I haven't opened them again.
When would you drink it? Hmmm, malic acid high-producing yeast is kind of Christmasy, so I guess that day would be good!
I was unable to go on my annual trip to Nagano this year for some reason, so I asked a friend of mine to stock up on recommendations at my usual local sake shop.
The rice is grown on the company's own farm without using herbicides or pesticides and with organic fertilizers.
The rice is delicious, and when drunk cold, it is fragrant and fruity with no cloying taste. It has a sweet and sour taste with a pungent aftertaste and a good amount of bitterness.
It has a strength that lingers in the mouth until the end, so it is best to drink it in small sips.
It is considered as a food wine.
Delicious.
When I went to my usual liquor store to stock up on Niida Honke, I saw a line of bottles that I had never seen before.
Ota Sake Brewery in Tottori.
Tottori sake made with rice from Tottori. They are particular about making it separately for each rice field.
The rice is Wakazakura-machi grown strong. I have never heard of this name before.
The name of the town is also very nice.
Fruity and dry. The aroma is very nice.
I was told that it is recommended to be served hot.
It was completely gone with oden.
Next time, I will try another rice.
Lighter flavor than expected. It is fruity, with a refreshing acidity, rice aroma and sweetness. It is like a rice wine. Like a young Filipino tapoy.
I served it with pickled ginger in miso as a snack and it was perfect.
Fukumitsuya, a sake brewery in Kanazawa.
I love Kagatobi, but I didn't know about this one. I discovered it while browsing through the Pal System catalog looking for an affordable sake that I can drink every day. 1.8 liters for 1,161 yen. 1.8 liters for 1,161 yen, from Fukumitsuya. So it arrived yesterday.
It is a packaged sake that can be drunk every day. It has a high alcohol content, but it has a great aftertaste and aroma that will make you take another sip and another sip.
Fukumitsuya in Kanazawa was truly a paradise. I wonder when I can go there next.
