Additive-free yeast Nigori White Frogger Junmai-shu As the name "KANGAERU" suggests, this sake really comes into its own when heated. It is a dark nigori sake, full of the flavor of rice, yet dry and with a refreshing acidity that keeps you from getting tired of drinking it. I think it can be served with oily foods with strong flavors, such as Chinese food. Personally, for some reason, I wanted to pair it with yakisoba noodles with sauce.

Yuto" Omachi is a deeply good sake that goes well with meals. Although the alcohol content is high at 17%, the drink does not feel heavy and the rice has a delicious flavor. As indicated by the slightly dry description, it is a sake with good sharpness, which makes it delicious with meals. It is suitable for Japanese cuisine, home cooking, and fried food such as tempura.

Purchased at the brewery on a recent trip to Hokkaido. Basically, it is only available in Otaru. (Mail order is available). The white label is regular junmai, and the red label is umakuchi junmai. When I tasted the white label at the brewery, I was under the impression that the taste was rather refreshing and calm, but... When I heated the sake I purchased, I got a very favorable impression of the flavor. Especially the red label is very good. It was a pleasant discovery.

Tohoku Izumi, I haven't had a drink in a long time. The label was unfamiliar to me, but the price was reasonable for a 45% polished Junmai Daiginjo, so I was intrigued and bought it! It is a Junmai Daiginjo from the reliable and high quality "Tohokuizumi", and as expected, it was a delicious sake that exceeded my expectations! It is not flashy, but it seems to go well with a wide range of Japanese food! You can really feel the goodness of sake! The four-pack bottle will run out soon! Next time I will buy a 1.5 liter bottle!

I used to drink the hi-ire sake a lot, but this is the first time I've ever had a draft sake! Sake brewed in 2022 was shipped last month (production date: 6.3.2022). We have high expectations for this sake! The first saké I sipped had a bitter rice flavor! Slight sweetness and a well matured aroma. It finishes with a crisp acidity. This is a taste that makes you want to eat!
