One of the Betsuzuru series. The taste of grape wine. Not wine, but grape wine. The Betsuru series goes well with meat dishes and cheeses, so it adds a touch of flair when drinking with friends.

Miyamanishiki. This was recommended to us by the brewer at a department store event as his favorite. Cold sake is the mainstream, and this was also cold sake at the event, but we chose it because we were told that it was also delicious warmed up. Indeed, it has a gorgeous aroma when heated lukewarm in a tokkuri and poured into a sake cup. It goes well with meat and fish.

Sake brewed in a wooden vat, restoring the Edo period production method. Similar to barrel sake, it is easy to drink without the strong aroma of barrel sake. It tastes like the wind blowing in the mountains, refreshing but different from the trendy fruity sake.

Kozutsuru dared to choose Aru Soze. It is said to have more character than junmai sake. It is gorgeous even when served cold, and since it is 25 degrees Celsius, it is intoxicating (lol).

At the Kobe Hankyu event, we welcomed "Judo" and "MISA" by Nadagiku Sake Brewery. As a Kobeite living near Yoshikawa-cho, I often drink Yamadanishiki sake, so it is fun to be able to taste various rice varieties on such occasions.

A refreshing cod stew and "Gizaemon NOUVEAU" from Wakabisu Shuzo. I am familiar with this sake as it is used in Kikyouya Orii's Japanese confectionery "Ginsen". This is the first sake brewed at the newly renovated brewery last fall. It is said that "easy-drinking" junmai sake is good, but this sake is easy to drink and has the character of rice (kami no ho), both of which can be enjoyed. Delicious 🍶.

Duck in a pot with "Kaga no Tsuki Autumn Moon" (Ishikawa's Kaketsu Sake Brewery) 🍁🍶. The lingering taste of the duck hot pot on the palate is blissfully accompanied by the taste of sake that combines the freshness and depth of autumn.

Uozu Sake Brewery, Toyama: Hokuyo, Fukurohangi Dark and smooth like sake. It was recommended to me by a friend who said, "You can't find a Fukuro-hozuri for this price! I was recommended this sake, and I must say, it's a great price!
