I drank this sake on a trip to Tottori.
It is a classic sake, but the flavor was relatively mild and quite acidic.
I liked it because it was quite easy to drink.
I went on a trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture and found this sake in a supermarket and drank it for dinner. I found it in a supermarket and drank it with a glass of wine in the evening. I thought it was a delicious everyday sake, slightly dry and very easy to drink with some acidity.
Souvenirs bought at Kyoto Station
I went all the way to Kyoto Nara, which is a sake prefecture, and bought only a small bottle as a souvenir since I have been cutting back on sake lately.
It was labeled "nama-zake," so I guess it must have been, but I wondered how it would be on the shelf at room temperature, but it was easy to drink with no problems.
It takes me a long time to drink it because I've been trying to cut back on my alcohol consumption lately, but I enjoyed it to the end without changing my impression of it, probably because it was originally sold as a sweet drink.
Souvenir from Saga
I thought it was a sweet and bitter sake with a gorgeous aroma.
It has a refreshing taste that does not make you tired of drinking.
I enjoyed it very much.
This completes the four regular junmai ginjos. I think it is less floral than 7, but it is sweet and tasty, fresh and delicious.
My preference is 10>7 super spicy>1814>7, though the difference is very slight.
It is a well-known brand but I was able to purchase it for the first time. The good thing about the point system is that you don't have to work that hard to purchase it.
It has a pineapple aroma and sweetness as well, but this sake is quite moderate and has a good flavor and sharpness. For me, it is my favorite sake and delicious.
I was on a trip to Saga Prefecture and found this in a supermarket. Saga Prefecture also seems to be a pretty popular sake drinking area.
This sake has a very cemedine-like aroma, and I think it is a bit on the mellow and dry side. It is a draft sake, but it is more impressive for its mellowness than for its freshness.
I recently started going to a store that has a point system, and when I had a few more yen to spend, I just bought it. However, I wanted to try this sake, so I was lucky to find a 250 ml product.
It has a creamy aroma, surprisingly low sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness, and a refreshing gasiness.
It is a sake that you can enjoy quite easily.
Happy New Year, I opened my favorite Yokoyama for the first time in the New Year.
I had a bottle of Silver 7 draft on a trip to Nagasaki the year before last, but my memory of it is fading...so here it is again.
It has a sweeter flavor than the 10. It has a gorgeous taste, and the bitterness finishes it off. I bought it at the end of the year and kept it in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks, so maybe it had matured a little.
I knew Yokoyama was good! Next time I want to try one right after bottling!
I hope to encounter a variety of sakes this year as well.
I have no connection to premier liquors because I can't afford them and haven't made the effort to buy them, but this time I went a little out of my way to get them.
The aroma is amazing! I've never had a sake that smells like this before.
The sweetness is subdued upon opening, with a noticeable taste of rice and a bit of bitterness. The body of this sake is quite solid, and you can probably be quite satisfied with just one glass.
The aroma alone is enough to make you feel that this sake is delicious.
I bought a bottle of this sake, so I will be in a "hana-yosu" mode for a while. I think this is my last post for this year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.
No, this one is also bad.
It is not fruity or sweet, but it is violently fresh. I think that Yokoyama's sake is a sake that has few elements that I don't like.
Yummmm, seriously, it might be my favorite.
Super fresh and crisp, yet not too light or heavy.
It has a little bit of gas and is gorgeous and sweet, but it has a crispness that doesn't drag it down and makes you want to drink it all the time.
It has been a year since I have had Yokoyama, and I really like their sake.
