The aroma is gorgeous, as is typical of Tohoku. When you drink it, it has a surprisingly dry and refreshing taste. It can also be used as a food sake. Delicious, highly recommended.
The sweetness and sourness of the rice are combined at a high level. To this is added a freshness with a hint of greenness, creating a unique flavor. Delicious, highly recommended.
A new product from Shitaizumi. It is junmai (pure rice), but the taste is clean and refreshing. It has a nice astringent taste and finishes with a nice sharpness. Delicious, highly recommended.
A bottle of Kikusui for mountain climbing. It was created by the desire to drink good sake even on the mountain. It does not have the freshness of Funaguchi. It has a clean and sharp taste. If you drink it on the mountain, it should taste even better.
I chose this wine because it is an IWC Silver, and I thought it would be moderately glamorous, but it wasn't nearly so. It was dry, with a good sharpness, as if it had a sake degree of +13.
Compared to Funaguchi, I can taste the flavor and sweetness of the rice, but it is less gutsy. The rest is a matter of taste. I think I prefer Funaguchi. Still, it is delicious.
It has a clean feeling, a subtle aroma, and a good sharpness. You can also taste the moderate sweetness of the rice, and the clean taste is nice. Delicious, recommended.
It is a juicy wine that is somewhere between an apple and a grape. It has a rich aroma and a rich flavor that is typical of the original sake. Delicious, highly recommended.
It has a moderate, restrained aroma, and the sweetness of the rice spreads as you drink it. It has a nice sharpness, and can be used as a mid-meal drink. Delicious, highly recommended.
I bought it at a convenience store in my hometown. It is a honjozo, but the brewing alcohol used for adding alcohol is also made in house from rice. It is a good value for money, especially in this day and age when it costs less than 1,000 yen. Recommended for everyday drinking.
