I had avoided it because I thought it tasted like natto (fermented soybeans), but of course it couldn't be. It is rather fruity. Delicious. You shouldn't judge it by its appearance. w
I often saw it at Sake no Wa and thought 🤔 I would like to try it someday and then I came across it! I'm so glad!
I was torn between Miyamanishiki and Sasanishiki, but decided to go with Miyamanishiki.
At first it was mellow, with a pleasantly rounded acidity, then I felt it was surprisingly dry and sharp. It was quite tasty!
It is a food wine type and the acidity seems to go well with strongly seasoned food.
Thank you very much for the drink!
Last night was the fifteenth night of the year.
That didn't stop our family from doing anything, and we spent the evening netflixing from curry for dinner.
Well, this year's Kawaguchi natto is Sasanishiki!
Last year it was Miyamanishiki with a red label, so I decided to go with the yellow label.
Slightly sake-like on the upper aroma.
The first taste is sourness and umami that comes right from the start. It is different from what I expected, but it is also delicious. The taste is refreshingly spicy and umami, and the salty acidity and bitterness finish it off nicely.
Kawaguchi natto is also sold at antenna stores in Tokyo. It is no exaggeration to say that Kawaguchi Natto is the most famous natto in Miyagi Prefecture. Please try it for yourself.
It is produced at the home of my former teacher when I was in junior high school.
Thank you very much for your kindness!
Hello WOM 😁
You are a connoisseur to know about the local food, shiso maki 😄.
Shiso miso" wrapped in miso and fried until crispy is good, but I prefer "mustard roll" made of mustard pickled daikon wrapped in shiso 🤘.
Sasanishiki, 55% polished rice
Aroma: Aroma that comes on quickly, with a typical Wataya aroma in the back.
The attack is full of acidity, and from there on, it is very much Wataya. It has an interesting flavor, and since the base is Wataya as a food sake, it is safe to say.
This is an interesting taste!
#Drinking at home
This is it!
Wataya is sometimes a bit too glamorous for my taste, but this is exactly the kind of Wataya I want!
Perhaps it's the use of Hitomebore grapes, but while the base has a strong umami flavor, it's also remarkably graceful, as if to say, "I'll pair it with any dish.
It has no strong points, but is a versatile all-around food wine.
Delicious!
Sake made from Miyamanishiki produced in Nagano Prefecture.
It is lightly sweet, and you may drink it with a gulp, so save it.
