It is Miyamanishiki grown in Kawaguchi Natto's own rice field.
It has a strong umami flavor and is very dry 😋.
Very easy to pair with food ✨.
Sashimi, oden, pizza, gratin, potato soup, you name it 👍!

We visited for lunch on the wife's birthday. Drinking outside in the daytime was extraordinary and very delicious. The second glass was a junmai sake from Wataya Club. We enjoyed it to the fullest with the food.

Wataya" impressed me at Kawaguchi Natto before.
On my last trip to Tochigi, I came across a summer sake type this time, so I got it!
When I opened the bottle and poured it out, it was crisp and unobtrusive, like a gentle breeze.
It is light on the palate and has a refreshing lightness, just like the summer sky on the label.
It has a refreshing taste derived from the spiciness and acidity, with a firm core of junmai's gentle and rounded flavor.
Despite the differences, it has something in common with my favorite "Akagisan," and is a delicious and easy-to-drink wine!
This refreshing taste is sure to shine during a meal. Summer seasonal foods come to mind 🤤.
A bottle suitable for the continuous heat wave!
I would like to try a variety of seasonal sakes, which are not often seen at Wataya👍.
