Cotton store's summer sake: ☀️
It has a strong acidity and an unexpectedly strong bitterness.
Even when well chilled, it tastes warm.
It's not my favorite on its own, but it really comes into its own when paired with food 😳.
The acidity goes well with chicken oil 😭I bet this would go well with fried food too.
I don't mind the bitterness when it's a food wine, why 😅?
I went through the spring, summer, fall, and winter, and each one is unique. It's hard to predict the taste just from the information on the label. I wish you would send out your recommendations for dishes 😭

I had never heard of this seasonal series until I used Sake-no-Wawa. I could hardly detect any aroma but simply enjoyed it with my meal. The label seems to be "Izunuma: Lotus.

On the way to Kumagaya Fireworks, I came to this store after learning that they sell Wataya.
I thought it would be a good place to buy sake on the way home from Forest Park, but it seemed to have a lot of good sake.
I bought a bottle of sake that had a pungent taste, but it had a gentle aftertaste. It has a gentle spiciness to it and a refreshing aftertaste that is perfect for summer.
I would like to drink it well chilled.

Light and refreshing! Good for summer! The label is bright and cool.
The next day, I accompanied my daughter to the hospital and finished her follow-up. We did great! We decided to watch a medical movie, so we watched TOKYO MER, ate delicious soba noodles, and celebrated.

Commentary.
Wataya's standard and core Junmai Ginjo.
This junmai ginjo is made from Tokushima Prefecture (Awa) Yamada-Nishiki, carefully polished to 55% polishing, in pursuit of the clean and delicate flavor of Yamada-Nishiki.
The pure rice ginjo "Yamadanishiki" is typical of Wataya, with refreshing acidity, a clean, clear, soft flavor, and a gentle mouthfeel. The elegant taste that brings out the flavor of the ingredients is very appealing.
