Bringing a souvenir to my parents' house
It is Miyamanishiki grown in Kawaguchi Natto's own rice field.
It has a strong umami flavor and is very dry 😋.
Very easy to pair with food ✨.
Sashimi, oden, pizza, gratin, potato soup, you name it 👍!
Next year, I'm going to compare the wines!
We visited for lunch on the wife's birthday. Drinking outside in the daytime was extraordinary and very delicious. The second glass was a junmai sake from Wataya Club. We enjoyed it to the fullest with the food.
Kawaguchi Natto" Sasanishiki hiyaoroshi from the Wataya brewery in Kurihara, Miyagi Prefecture.
Plenty of umami and good sharpness as expected👍.
This is a good sake ❗️
The brewer recommends pairing it with Chinese food.
Since I am in charge of today's dinner, I decided to go with Chinese food.
Wok-fried eggplant🍆, potato🥔, and deep-fried tofu,
Stir-fried tomato 🍅 and egg 🥚,
cucumber with salted malt.
Good evening Jay & Nobby😊.
Kawaguchi natto is a must if you see it!
The "Wataya" brand is also a beautiful, calm and balanced sake, but Kawaguchi Natto gives the impression of being full of flavor.
