I returned home for the holidays to participate in cleaning out the oversized trash at my parents' house. After sweating a bit, I found Izumikawa in the fridge and immediately opened a bottle of this unexpected trophy 🎉. It has a slightly soft sweetness, a gradual flavor, and a bitterness that comes in the latter half of the bottle. It is smooth and easy to drink! It is the big brother of Tobiroki, and I enjoyed Izumikawa for the first time in a long time 😘.

Izumikawa's Funakuchi. It is a slightly orizumi (orizumi is a slightly cloudy, raw sake), so the first thing to drink is the top clear liquid. The aroma is still young and melon-like, with a soft sweetness and a tangy, spicy bitterness. The balance of sweetness, spiciness, and bitterness gradually improves. When mixed with ori, it becomes slightly cloudy. The spiciness subsides and the sweetness increases, creating a mellow mouthfeel that keeps you coming back for more. It is a very fresh and delicious sake that can only be drunk at this time of the year.

Izumikawa Jungin Nanaguchi Hon Nama Nama ✨✨✨✨ Izumikawa is a sake that is distributed within the prefecture by the famous sake brewery HIROKI, but this Jungin Funakuchi Honnen is exceptionally popular and our expectations are skyrocketing. ⤴️ The bottle was opened very quietly, with a little lees at the bottom of the bottle. The aroma is similar to that of Tobiroki, but it is not flashy, with fresh melon and pear fruits. The taste is a little viscous and smooth on the tongue, with moderate acidity and the sweetness of the rice spreading through a dry aftertaste. When the starch is mixed in, the softness and flavor increase, and although it has a moderate alcohol content, it is a very popular wine.

The second bottle of the 0th party😄I get a Junmai Ginjo from Izumigawa! It makes me want to drink it when it's there (^o^) The aroma is mild rice aroma from banana🍌! When you drink it, the mild sweetness slowly gives way to umami, with little sourness or bitterness, and a nice sharpness. It is a sake that really doesn't interfere with meals. I would like to continue drinking it slowly.

This is Izumikawa, a local brand of Tobiroki purchased on a trip to Fukushima. I bought it in a bottle because they didn't have any Yongo bottles...lol It was my first time to drink it, but it is very good! It is very smooth from the first sip, and it seems to soak into the body easily. It is very smooth from the first sip. The taste is fruity with a hint of 🍌 and you can really taste the mildness and umami of the rice, but the finish is clean and refreshing, so you can drink more ✨. I think I could finish a whole bottle of this in no time 😆 lol. It's so good!

To take to my son. I opened another bottle of one: ❣️ Izumikawa Junmai Ginjo Nanokuchi Hon Nama 🍶✨ Freshly squeezed and bursting with flavor 😘. This is from a sake friend who sent me a bottle of Koganezawa. This was sent to me along with a bottle of Tenmei no Zero that I drank in December 🥰. Fruity aroma Mild on the palate Soft sweetness and full of umami Fresh and gorgeous acidity Well balanced and easy to drink ♡ Delicious! While retaining its gorgeous aroma It goes down smoothly and cleanly while leaving a gorgeous aroma. It is sweet but does not leave a lingering aftertaste I can drink it all the time 😋😋. Delicious 💕💕! My son and I had it for 3 days 🥂. Still as soft and easy to drink 😋. Again, we both finished 4 cups 😙👍. Thank you ♡ for the treat ♡ and thank you to my sake friends 🙏. Dora-chan gave us 7 bottles of sake this time. These two and 7 other bottles of sake ❣️ New ones, old ones and many more 🤭. I ended up with a NEW YEAR bottle of Tasake ✨. My son's latest boom is Making Greek yogurt 🤣. A while ago, he used to make a baked cheesecake using Fatteno, but then he decided to make his own Fatteno and it was so much better than Fatteno. It's even better than pattino 😍.

Izumikawa is a local Fukushima limited distribution product of the Tobiroki brand. Almost the same specs, but the spiciness is mellower than Tobiroki and you can feel the rice. It is good cold, but also good warmed up. ❗️
