A bit pungent but not unpleasant. Surprisingly refreshing, with a pleasant acidity unique to Yamahai. Delicious. Pair with Sanriku Sardine with Wakasagi Fish Sauce Sauce 😋.

Today it is Toru Yoemon. It is a sake from Iwate.
I was curious about this sake brewery because I read about it in dancyu.
I went to have dinner at a restaurant and found Toru Yoemon there.
I had no idea that I would find Junmai Namaisake!
I had to try it!
The aroma is like whiskey.
The color is a light amber.
I heard that it actually had a little more fizz, but it had been a while since the bottle was opened, so I couldn't really taste it.
It was served cold, and the taste was sweet like raisins and brown sugar, with a sharp acidity. It has a bitter aftertaste with a freshness that makes it very drinkable, yet refreshing.
In my mind, this sake has the taste of old Awamori sake!
It is a unique taste that I have never had with sake before, but it reminded me of a delicious old Awamori Zuisen that I drank a long time ago.
This is the first time to visit this brewery. It is Toruyoemon Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu. It has a delicious acidity. It is a delicious sake with a fresh, crisp taste and good acidity 😋🍶🎶.
Good evening, Oyaji! (^○^)
This brewery was said to be a heretic in Iwate Prefecture, which is known for its sweet sake.
The sake brewery's acidic sake was not accepted, but on the contrary, it became popular outside the prefecture and was "reimported" into Iwate (lol).
The people of Iwate Prefecture are so conservative that they only approved of sweet sake.
Don't make sour sake! Some people even shouted at them, "Don't make sour sake!
I can only laugh...(^_^;)
The taste reminds me of my old relative's house with the waterwheel and thatched roof.
The taste of the old days.
A nostalgic dry taste that has me playing around the hearth while the adults are drinking sake.
What is it?
Is it because of Rikuu No. 132 or Association No. 7?
Is it because of the synergistic effect of the two together?
As I savor the crisp, dry sake that seems to go well with any dish, I think of my grandfather and grandmother who took good care of me.
Well, I know it is not like that.
First stocking in the New Year. Although it is described as "super dry," it goes down the throat refreshingly clear in the mouth. The aroma is not too assertive, which I like.

I feel something magic
I become a fan!
Finally I could talk!
There are all kinds of hard-to-find sake out there.
It's hard to say that it's a popular brand.
But there are some that are hard to find.
but there are some that are hard to find because you can't find a liquor store that carries them.
Is this a typical brand?
Well...
Putting all that aside...
I got it!
Due to a mismanagement.
It's a draft sake.
It was treated as junmai namaishige.
It was aged for about 3 months in a very loose temperature environment, and
In another sense, it was left unattended.
Despite this
the balance of the wine is very good.
