It was introduced at the restaurant as a well-balanced sake. It is true that it has a well-balanced taste of spiciness, sweetness, and sourness. However, it has a sake-like taste, and the aroma lingers on rather than leaving a light aftertaste. I think it is delicious in its own way.
I see that the back side is usually on the market. But it is delicious. It is easy to drink with a slight gasiness, a fruity mouthfeel, and a light aftertaste. My first Oita sake, and it was a winner.
The taste was very well balanced as recommended by the restaurant. It was neither spicy nor sweet. I have not had such an easy to drink sake in a long time.
