♥♥♥♥💙 Loved the Hiyayogoshi I had this year so much I got the Honjozo. It's called "mellow umakuchi", which means it's clean but has a distinct Hayaseura flavor. I'm not sure if it's the same thing or not, but I'm sure it's a good thing. It's also very good value for money.
♥♥♥♥💙 First Asahi Wakamatsu in 2 years, it's shipping in October, which is the time of year, it says brewed in 2024, but no reason for 2024BY. I'm wondering when it's going to be brewed, it was too sweet 2 years ago and I was baffled. It's always been a sweet sake, but this year it seems to be back to normal.
♥♥♥♥ I was surprised when I drank it last year that it was almost like vinegar, but here comes the second version. Some say it's easier to drink, but that's not true. It is still vinegar.
♥♥♥♥💙 I was going to leave it more alone, but couldn't resist opening it up when it was time for heated sake. Color and flavor are riding well. Strong and satisfying sense of maturity.
♥♥♥♥💙 Urakasumi is sold at most supermarkets. I drank it at a soba noodle restaurant in Yokohama and was surprised at how refreshing and delicious it was. I got it at the supermarket right away. I'm not fooling with it!
♥♥♥♥♥ I love the name and taste of this sake. The taste is different every time, but the restrained spiciness and aroma are always exquisite. I like the word "Aosae". I also like the fact that it is made with well water, which gives it a mellow feeling.
