The rain stopped, but as expected, I was not in the mood to enjoy the nighttime cherry blossoms outside tonight, so I only took pictures of the flowers. This brewery holds fond memories for me of working part-time when I was a student. At that time, there was no such junmai raw storage. This sake is delicious and easy to drink with a rather clean taste and little malted rice smell.

I bought this sake thinking it was Kaneizumi, but it was a Junmai Ginjo called Karokaro. p When I warmed it up and sipped it, it tasted sweet and sour with a little bit of old age in it. ？？？？ I looked it up and found out that it was not a regular sake. However, I was a little surprised because I had never tasted a rich sweet and sour taste with a sense of maturity and calmness. Yes, it is a delicious sake. p

I was lucky to find this sake at a reduced price. I lightly heated it up, and although it is labeled as a daiginjo, it does not have that much of a ginjo aroma. The taste is really mellow and smooth without any stickiness. I guess it's a bit of a fluke.

I bought this sake about 3 years ago and forgot about it. It is said to be a sake made with Sakura yeast, so the brewer must be very reluctant to drink it after it has aged, thank you very much. 🙇‍♀️ It is said to be characterized by a mellow mouthfeel and sharpness, but it is an aged honjozo sake.
