Purchased from Coop catalog. Silky mouthfeel. A little fruity, but drier than I expected and a little too much for me personally... 😥. My mother, who loves nigori sake, also said she doesn't like it, so it doesn't look like it will decrease at all 😭 I guess it was worth the price since it was less than 1000 yen 🤔.

Maru-san was drinking Yuyamanishiki, so I thought, yes, let's drink Kibotsuru! So I opened the bottle 😁. I bought it at Ikoma Sake Shop. There was a small amount of air bubbles in the glass. Fresh, sweet and tasty, but a little bitter in the second half, which is a nice accent. Bitter, but the lingering sweetness gives the impression of being long-lasting. The one I had in the past was a bit twitchy, so it was nice to have it in good condition.

Sake purchased with Nemuchi at Ya●ya in Karasuma Oike after the tasting by Okayama-san I think it's been 5-6 years since I drank Ootsuru 🤔. Well, I haven't had Tanzan or Choro in the area near Ootsuru for a long time 🤔. Well, I don't mind it 🙄. Retro label and 900ml bottle. Aroma and sweetness like golden sugar candy. Tangy alcohol. It's a little refreshing, so I wonder if it's watered down. It's a good thing, but I would like to have more flavor. After about a week, the sourness started to come out. I think Ootsuru is now making sake in Miyama, Nantan City, but the address is still Kameoka. I wonder if they only bottle in Kameoka. I think they have to write that the manufacturer is in Kameoka City and the production place is in Nantan City (or shorten the company name with +A or the location with a symbol), but there are no penalties or anything like that.

Sake with a lot of yeast appeal. I think it's rare to find a sake other than CEL yeast 🤔. It's 1801 yeast, so it's fruity and has a sweet aroma, but it's spicier than I thought it would be. I wish there would be more raw sake like this that can be easily bought at supermarkets. I get the impression that it's pretty sweet when the temperature rises.

Purchased when I went to a tasting in Okayama It's dated April 24 and has been sitting in the store for quite a while, but according to the liquor store's social media when it arrived, it was originally aged for 3 years😅. The official website says that they want to continue to make a robust sake with great flavor even for only 2 out of 10 customers 😳. I guess their stance is that they don't need to be popular with everyone, but I wonder if that's okay from a business standpoint 🙄. It has a yellowish color. The top nose and the hint of aroma have a sense of maturity. It feels light, but the ripeness makes it feel heavier. There are orange and citrus flavors too 🍊. It has a strong sense of maturity, but when you open it, you can feel it's fresh, which is unusual. I don't know what freshness is 🤣. I'm curious to see what it tastes like when it's fresh. I don't find it too pungent, so if it's fresh, I might like it a lot 🤔. I know it's Nagano sake but I think it's a little different from what people imagine Nagano sake to be. I think it's similar to Reijin or Enki. If you put some aging on it, it might be a little bit similar 🤔. I don't know...

I bought it because, like Taketsuru, this brewery doesn't serve much draft sake 😁. It has a zodiac sign label. I had an image of Wataya as a dry sake, but it has a solid sweetness and minerality. It's delicious and has a good umami flavor 😋. But when the temperature goes up, the spiciness seems to be emphasized.

February Tasting Extravaganza #2 at Icoma Sake Shop The last one is Boshimaya, which just arrived 2025 Limited Nigori Sake It looks like a nigori version of the regular junmai unfiltered raw sake! It's a little bubbly with a slight effervescence. It tastes sweeter than the standard one, but it has a taste typical of Boshimaya. I was interested in Kihotsuru Omachi and Buntaro, but this time I bought Morinori Technique, which seemed to sell out early, and Kihotsuru Haba-Nigori, which I couldn't find anywhere else.

February Tasting Extravaganza at Icoma Sake Shop Here is the extra edition. We had a sample of Tomikunishiki Risshun morning pressing! I was surprised that there was a sample of Tachiharu Asa Shibori! This is the third time in five years that we have had the Tachiharu Asashiboshi from Fukyu Nishiki 😁. It has a refreshing sweetness and light mouthfeel. I think it was fizzy when I drank it in the past. I haven't drank any Fukyu-Nishiki recently, so I need to try a variety.

February Tasting at Icoma Sake Shop ④. Echizen Cape Ihyakumangoku I first drank it at room temperature, which was fine enough for me personally, but when I heated it up, I felt like I could drink it forever and ever 🤣. It's like an all-rounder that can be drunk at any temperature!

February Tasting at Ikema Sake Shop (3) It is a fire-brewing of Motomine Tsuru Yumachi! Usually, the draft is released first and the hi-ire is released later, but Kibotsuru's Yumachi is a rare case where the hi-ire is released first! This is the first time I've had hi-ire Omachi, but it's fresh and gassy like a draft. Sweet and juicy and delicious 😋. It was my favorite at this tasting! I also had a bottle of Morinori's Dry Nama Sake and it was consistently delicious 😋.

February Tasting at Ikema Sake Shop (2) 3 kinds of Buntaro from the newest brewery in Hyogo Prefecture Junmai Namaizu and Jun Dai Namaizu were not photographed this time, so please see my past post for labels 😌. The Junmai Namae was more delicious than the Junmai Namae I was allowed to try a while ago, with more flavor and more umami. The Jun Dai Namae is a slightly different type of Jun Dai Namae with a less Jun Dai-like flavor and a bit more floral and fruity in the second half. When I heated it up, I got the impression of rice and graininess in the first half and spiciness in the second half. I felt the flamboyance was reduced. I've had a bottle of Yuki no Shirahama in the past, but I got the impression that it was more refined and tastier than it was then. It is similar to Junmai Namae, but a little spicier.

February Tasting at Ikema Sake Shop (1) Sake tasting events were held all over the Kansai region, but I went to Icoma in my neighborhood as usual 😁. First, Shiromayumi! Sake from the Japan Famous Sake Club's hanpukai! It tastes like a lactobacillus drink or yogurt! A little light, but I don't dislike the taste. It's a Gifu sake, but for some reason they use Akita Komachi. Is it because the price of rice is rising? I drank a bottle of nama sake at the end of the year and it tasted similar, but I wonder if that's a feature of Shiromayumi. But the Hakumayumi I drank at a Gifu sake event didn't taste like that 🤔.

I had never been able to get my hands on a bottle of Takekutsuru because of the image of heated or aged sake, but I bought a bottle of draft. It's probably quite dry, but it's not sweet, and it has a melon-like flavor that makes it easier to drink than I expected. I felt that the flavor broadened as the temperature went up a bit. I'm going to try heating it up soon 🍶. I think it tastes better when it's heated up, the acidity is more pronounced, but the spiciness is also more pronounced. It's hard to say which is better 🤔. I thought it was spicy, but when I compare it to Issokusenzan, Issokusenzan tastes sweeter.

It's Cat Day, but I haven't prepared any particular cat labels or anything 😹. I've been wanting to drink a draft version of this sake since the fire-aged one I had before was so good. I bought it at Ikoma together with the tobin-tori. It is fresh, fruity and delicious with a strong umami flavor. The higher the temperature, the sweeter it tastes.

I've seen Hochozuru at many liquor stores, but I've been putting it off for some reason and this is the first time I'm drinking it😅. Slightly effervescent. It has quite a fruity aroma, but it's quite dry and not too sweet. I wish it had a little more umami 🤔. The aftertaste is quite spicy... The more the temperature is close to room temperature, the more umami, sweetness, and gorgeousness will increase 😋. After 2 days, it tastes better cold 😊.

I have been wanting to drink Takeba since before the earthquake, and finally bought it at an antenna store. It's an interesting sake, with a fresh and robust sweetness and acidity, while also having a strong Noto sake-like flavor. I was surprised that it was quite juicy and sweet. It also has a fruity taste.

The picture looks like drinking outside, but I bought a bottle at the tasting and shared it with Nemuchi. I gave the rest of the bottle to a guest who came to the event 😁. The brewer at the event said that there are no distributors in Kansai, but this sake is only available at distributors. It was written that it was limited to 240 bottles. Slightly dry and refreshing, with a slight effervescence. It also has a slight minerality. I had an impression that it was sweeter than the other ones I've had in the past, but this one wasn't sweet.... It's not spicy either. It might be quite spicy when I drink it again 😅 It's hard to find a sake that gives you a different impression of taste every time you drink it🤔 I'm sorry Nemuchi for getting you involved by saying I wanted this...

Amt tasting ⑬ This is also Amto's original sake. It's interesting that it's a Yamahai Kijoshu. It looks like it is aged for 5 years! It is rich, mature, sweet and delicious. I also drank some gin and spirits from HARUKO-UNYUYOU! After this, Nemuchi and I walked to Keihan Department Store in Moriguchi to see the alcohol section... When we changed to the JR line at Kyobashi, we realized that the alcohol we were supposed to have bought was missing. I thought I might have just thought I had bought it, so I asked Neemuchi on LINE, and he said he had indeed bought it! On the way to Moriguchi, I stopped at a convenience store to use the restroom, so I inquired about it, but I couldn't find it 😿. It's also possible that I forgot it when I sat on the bench on the platform 😭.

Amt Tasting ⑫ Amto's original sake. It has a dark color. I thought it might be a bit strong, but it was not that strong. The taste is complex and difficult to describe due to the fact that it is an assemblage 😅. It says it's aged in noble rot wine barrels, but the sake itself seems to be made from noble rot wine.

Amt Tasting (11) It is not sweet but refreshing and has a strong acidity. When I drank Takayuu at the Japanese sake festival, it was not so good, but this one was delicious!
