The other day, I visited the Gekkeikan Okura Memorial Hall and bought some. I am sorry to say that I had an image of Gekkeikan as a popular sake, but all the sake I tasted were delicious. It has a well-balanced taste with a hint of sweetness, sourness, and spiciness, and the taste quickly fades away, leaving a very refreshing aftertaste, making it a very good sake for a meal. It was delicious.

Shirakawa Village Junmai Daiginjo CUVEE45 It seems to be a limited edition sake of 1200 bottles made with rice and water from Shirakawa village. I bought it on a trip to Shirakawa-go, so it was higher than my usual 2,000 yen budget😅. So, it is delicious! The sweetness is strong when you drink it, but then the sourness and spiciness follow and it has a nice sharpness. Delicious and lingering😊.

This sake is produced by Imuraya, a well-known maker of azuki bars and meat buns. It seems to be manufactured in a commercial facility called Vison, which was established in the town of Taki in Mie. The mouthfeel is delicious, with a decent sweetness and sourness, a little fizziness, and a clean aftertaste ^_^.
