The top aroma is mild, and in the mouth, it has a slight whiff of a green apple. The acidity and umami are not too assertive, and the aftertaste is refreshing, so it would go well with punchy appetizers such as minced fish tempura 👍.

2025.06.14 Senpyo BLACK Today's drink of the day is this one💁. This is Senpyo BLACK Nama-zake from Aichi Prefecture. This sake was brewed in collaboration with Yamazaki Goushi Company, and while it was sharp and dry with a robust flavor, it also had a good amount of acidity, sweetness, and umami. Like a home run hitter who can both run and defend, this sake will have a wide range of uses as a food alcohol 👍. The rice flavor is very rich, and the acidity is nice and sharp. It is a perfect food sake that can be served with a wide variety of dishes. Next time, I'd like to try it warmed up and savor it carefully.

Today's drink of the day is opened here 💁. It is Mimuro-Sugi Hanakun Junmai-Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-Ginjo ORIGARUMI from Nara Prefecture. I was caught off guard 😣. I didn't realize I was warned to open the bottle. ⚠️ I almost spilled it. 😮‍💨 The nose is mild and fruity at first. After waltzing with sweetness and moderate acidity from the schwartziness in the mouth, the finale is a firm bitterness. It's so delicious 😋 and it's low alcohol so it's easy to slurp. Today's drink of the day is opened here 💁. It is Naraman Junmai Sake from Fukushima Prefecture. The aroma is mild and the mouthfeel is light and crisp. You can taste the umami and sweetness of the rice. It is best suited as a food sake, but it is sure to go well with sweet food as well. I drank it cold today, but I think the flavor will spread even more if it is heated. This is another sake that I definitely want to keep on hand. ☺️ We pray for the souls of those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake. Brewed in a small sake brewery using the traditional method of pressing rice onions, this sake is sharp and full of flavor, and would definitely go well with Ariake sea bass sashimi. I bought it last year and let it sit for a while, and while the acidity and bitterness have increased slightly, the overall flavor is mellower and more banana-like. The nose is fruity, and in the mouth it is like juicy, fresh apples with a delicious aftertaste that lingers. It is so easy to drink that it is hard to believe that it is 18%. Today's drink of the day is opened here 💁. It is Hirotogawa Junmai Nigori Nama Sake from Fukushima Prefecture. The top aroma is gorgeous and sweet like honey, but it is not that assertive. Once you drink it, the sweet and sour taste that fills your mouth, the umami, and the bitterness are all tightly controlled, and it has a good sharpness. It is a very well-balanced and delicious sake, and I would like to purchase it again this year.
