I bought it in Nagano, where I went on a pilgrimage to Zenkoji Temple, or rather on a business trip. It is mellow and has a thick sweetness and a fragrance. I like the feeling of drinking it.
It is also a winner.
After work, I visited Zenkoji temple and had a drink at Nagano station with my colleagues. I came across this one, which was the daily drink of the day, and it's really good. It's sweet with a spicy aftertaste!
Nagano is a nice place.
In December, I accidentally bought a bottle at my usual liquor store in front of Omagari Station. I had trouble keeping it in the refrigerator (laugh).
The points of purchase were that the rice was produced by Kenji Miyazawa and that it was wrapped in newspaper. I am grateful for something.
I'm drinking it at maybe 20 degrees Celsius, and I get the impression of a mixture of the gorgeous Tohoku-ness of the mouthfeel and the sake aftertaste that follows. It is a solid sake.
Delicious.
It is said to be manufactured until March 2023.
Happy New Year!
I bought a bottle but failed to drink it at the end of the year, so I had it again at the beginning of the year.
As I expected, it has an aromatic and fruity flavor typical of Akita. However, it is not thin and is very drinkable.
I found a delicious sake at the beginning of the New Year.
I bought this for my daughter's birthday celebration at Mutoya in Sendai Station. It's easy to drink and schwirl, now this is the best one! The clerk told me that this is the best one right now! This is really delicious.
Purchased at a sake store in Yuzawa on a business trip in early August. It was a hot damn summer, so I chose it for the freshness of the clear bottle with the polar bear print and the special feeling that it was a summer sake.
Once the cap was opened, the gorgeous aroma was typical of Akita sake. The chilled sake is slightly sweet, with a slight presence of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Two months ago seems like a long time ago, but it is still hot in mid-October!
I'll try a junmai ginjo the next time I'm in between.
I guess it tastes better when it has "ginjo" in the name!
The first sip was smooth and refreshing. It has a moderately floral flavor with a dry taste that lingers on the tongue.
It's like a dry taste lingers on the tongue.
I will drink it slowly and carefully.
I opened the lid while watching the closing ceremony of the Olympics (recorded, lol). It is a refreshing, yet robust sake with a dry, umami taste, I guess.
This time, I bought it at a sake brewery right in front of Ina Station as a commemorative gift for climbing Mt. I heard that there are many sake breweries in Ina because of the abundance of water from the Central Alps. A good retro town.
It is the next day, and the taste is mellow and delicious!
I was lured by the 20% PayPay points and bought it at Odakyu OX on my way home from work. There was another brand of the same product, but I got this one because it was summer and I was attracted by the blue bottle.
Just by opening the lid, I could smell the sweet aroma. I drank it with high expectations, and found that in addition to the sweetness, it had a slightly fizzy, slightly bitter taste. A hidden taste for adults!
The picture of a turtle and a mouse chasing each other is cute!
On my way home from a business trip, I had a drink at a corner bar at Sendai Station and enjoyed it so much that I brought it back home with me.
The sweetness that you can smell just by opening the lid of the bottle.
It has a gorgeous mouthfeel and a firmness that is not just that. It has a smooth texture.
It may be the best I have ever had.
I think the store said it was only available for a limited time.
A souvenir from my junior's trip to a hot spring.
It was already 10:00 p.m. after dinner, but I opened the lid.
There is no aroma until you put it in your mouth, but it is refreshing and delicious. The corners are rounded, and you can taste the rice flavor and the firmness of the sake.
During the 20-minute transfer from the Ou Main Line to the Akita Shinkansen, I hurriedly bought a bottle of Yamato Shizuku at a sake store in front of the station. Wrapped in newspaper, I was attracted by its secretive atmosphere. I was told this was to avoid light.
I returned home early today because of the snow, so I took it out of the refrigerator and opened it. When I removed the newspaper, I saw that it was a transparent, light-colored glass bottle. I see.
It is said to be a challenge to see if Yamada-Nishiki can be grown in Akita. This is a challenge, but it seems to be a great success.
It has a fruity taste like grapes.
It is a gorgeous sake, typical of Akita, and delicious.
I received this as a souvenir from Mie. It seems to be a sake that has won various awards.
It has a fruity mouthfeel, but it has the harshness and spiciness typical of sake, and maybe a little sourness.
I'll keep it low today.
It's late at night, but I'm feeling better so I opened it. it was made in November 2022, so I should drink it soon. The name and label are perfect for the year of the dragon, 2024! It's been a while since I've had sake from Hiroshima, but it has a different flavor from the Tohoku sake I've been drinking recently, with rounded corners and softness. It is rounded, soft, and has a yellowish tinge to it, which makes it seem more like sake.
Let's drink it again tomorrow.
I was in a big hurry to buy this small 180 ml bottle at the KIOSK outside the Omagari Station station, although I had only 20 minutes to make the connection from the Ou Main Line to the Akita Shinkansen bound for Tokyo.
It was a sweet and festive bottle, perfect for celebrating Christmas. It is not too light and has a nice aftertaste. It's a good size for a single drinker.
I bought it as a souvenir following last year.
I think I prefer it a little warmer than cold.
The taste is not too strong, a little sour. It is a refreshing drink.
I heard it is made with holy water from Nachi Falls, so I expect it to bring me good luck.
I went to Kumano in GW as I did last year.
Although the number of people had increased after Corona, it was still not crowded.
Sake is sold in sets of two or three small bottles at souvenir shops around Shingu and Kumano. Lawson in front of Shingu Station also had them.
The brewery, Ozaki Shuzo, is located in Shingu and is a perfect travel souvenir.
When poured into a glass, it has a slightly yellowish color. It looks like a tree country, doesn't it?
The taste is fruity when cold, yet sweet and easy to drink. It does not feel dry.
However, when the temperature rises a little, the sake remains easy to drink, but it becomes more assertive and fills the throat!
I bought this sake recommended by my neighborhood Tochigiya, taking advantage of the PayPay campaign.
I was told that the sake was not cooked and that it would have a strong flavor, which is true.
It has a slight acidity and a gorgeous aroma on the palate, followed by the richness of sake, which makes you feel like you are drinking sake.
It has a slight acidity and a gorgeous aroma on the palate, but it is followed by the richness of sake, which gives you the feeling that you are drinking sake.
Bingo!
It's like it's made from rice!
We finished dinner early and had it while watching TV.
Sake obtained in Yuzawa, where I went for work. I drink it chilled in the refrigerator. It has a gorgeous aroma and a refreshing taste. The aftertaste is dry without being sticky. The fruity taste is followed by alcohol on the nose. Overall, it is very elegant.
This sake is said to be made from Akita rice. You can taste Akita, the sake kingdom. The snow seems to be hard to come by this year.
